This, along with the hot chocolate sachets, makes great hot chocolate. I ordered the milk chocolate sachets, and they are perfect to drink, no extra sugar required. The machine is very quiet and is easy to clean after use. It does only produce 1 cup, per use.

Perfect hot chocolate

It does make good hot chocolate, even if you just use chocolate powder instead of flakes…. well half a hot chocolate anyway! The liquid volume of the device isn’t that great, it will make you a small hot chocolate just under the the size of a latte glass… certainly not the mug of hot coco you were dreaming of. It can also be used to froth milk for lattes. It feels and looks (copper) well made, and has a nice weight to it. The handle works well for pouring. Also pretty easy to clean. It’s nice to have, but only if you can get it on a good deal.

This is a great way to make hot chocolate like the shops. Easy to use and clean.

I get it, it's all the hype. And I'm no huge fan of hot chocolate. But if you have the right chocolate, you will change your mind buying from well known retail brands. To put that into perspective, I got the velvetiser, wanted to buy the HC sachets but they were a bit pricey and thought sod that. Then I went and got aero mint (amazing taste), lindor and lindt, Cadbury... you name it. Grated it using a knife into small thin flakes and wow..... it taste amazing! Here's a break down: Step 1: Buy chocolate which can easily be melted and shredded. Put it in the fridge. Wait till it's solid. Step 2: Shread the chocolate around 40g or less. Pour the required milk (or less for more chocolatey taste) and Step 3.pour the shredded chocolate bit by bit.(do not put it all in one go or it will make a weird noise and won't blend). Then once all in, close the lid. Step 4: Sit back and enjoy :) Helpful tip: If your lid doesn't want to close properly and keeps pushing back up. Then rinse it, dry it thoroughly, and blow heat on it. The friction should then work with the rubber seal and velvetiser. I have tried so many different chocolates. But a word of warning. Very addictive!! The only reason some people are not being able to melt some chocolate is because of the flake size, not cleaning the base properly or too much milk! Genuine review and no bs. Hope that helps! Update: Couple of points to mention. - Dualit (sister company of HC) have released there own chocolat sachets! And guess what? It tastes the same as HC chocolate sachets! It's called.......drums roll........... Coco Canopy. Thank me later :) - You can use chocolate powder and not just flakes. Tried and tested and it works well! Click helpful to support this :)

Super chocolatière ! Chauffe parfaitement, avec une belle mousse et l’avantage si vous décidez de ne pas forcément acheter le chocolat en morceau fourni, est de choisir les tablettes de chocolats de votre choix (lait,noir,blanc…) et de mettre les carreaux directement dans l’appareil pour faire des chocolats chaud personnalisés :) Seul bémol est qu’il ne passe pas au lave vaisselle mais ce n’est pas très dérangeant ☺️ Je recommande !

This was shipped from the UK to Saudi, so it did take a while but the product is fabulous and makes a delicious hot chocolate. The box comes with the (UK) cable, instructions, a year warranty and 2 cups too. One thing to note tho, is whilst the machine looks big you can only make one cup per person, the space on the inside is actually quite small, so something to keep in mind. Overall extremely happy with the product

Diesen Velvester kann ich ,, wärmstens,, empfehlen. Da dieser aus UK kommt, benötigt man einen Adapter. Ich benutze den für das schnelle Herstellen von Kakao, anwärmen aller Getränke, z.B. Kaffee oder auch mal ein Glühwein. Man könnte ihn vielleicht auch zum anwärmen von Milchfläschchen benutzen. Ein Allrounder, der täglich benutzt wird und somit jeden Cent wert ist. Auch vom geringen Energieverbrauch bin ich überzeugt.

Bestellt bei amazon.com, deswegen brauchte ich noch einen Adapter auf "deutsche" 230V! Hier noch einen leckeren Kakao dazu bestellt. Ich bin sehr zufrieden, in ca. 3 Minuten gibt es einen sehr leckeren Kakao ohne Klumpen! Mein Sohn ist ebenfalls sehr begeistert! Amazon.com gibt nur 1 Jahr Garantie!
