Early days, but the signs are good!
My dog is an anxious mess in the car and suffers from separation anxiety when we leave her. I've been trying many products to try and help calm her down a little, but nothing seems to have worked. After a week of using these chews they do seem to have made a different (more so in the car). She lays down and sleeps now whereas before she would cry. A really great part of these chews is they are easy to feed to her. She loves how they taste so there is no stress in giving them to her. You get a lot of chews in the tub so there is value for money. All in all, I can't fault these! Worth a try!

Worked briefly and then wore off after 6 weeks
I read all the reviews and did a lot of research before buying. My dog is a mixed rescue terrier who is highly reactive to cars, trucks bin men . Terrified of loud noises barks at every noise . Highly intelligent but extremely anxious . I tried her with these at first sheโd take them from me as a treat , didnโt really notice much for the first coupleOf weeks apart from you was panting a lot and her bowels were loose. She realised what was happening so I hid them in her food then a while later I did notice she was calming down ever so slightly. I could walk her with my other dogs which I always do anyway but I could walk past other people with dogs and she wouldnโt react. Amazing. She only barked at noisy trucks not all vehicles which was such an improvement was very pleased. So continued using them been using them for a month now at least. But now she pants excessively after taking one and retreats to her bed upstairs. She goes on walks but has started to be anxious again and seems a frightened little girl again . Do they wear off? Do the dogs become immune to them? Who knows. Now she seems sad and anxious with loose bowels , I donโt think there helping anymore. Iโm going to stop them and see how she is without them and maybe try an alternative brand .

Brilliant calming tablets work very well
My dog can get very nervous/anxious in new situations, these tablets just keep her calm and stop her anxiety going up a level.I would recommend them if you have a nervous/anxious dog or are maybe moving house as a temporary fix. They are good around firework night as well.

Calming treats that don't work and destroyed my 3 seater recliner
My Beagle been on these calming treats since 25 November, I have read how calming and how they help separation anxiety, I left my dog on Sunday 7 December for about two hours came back home came into the lounge had the shock of my life what this dog had done, he pulled down the curtain to the cupboard space under the stairs, he attacked my 3 seater sofa recliner damaged one of the sofa cushions and pulled the springs out of the sofa, it first time he'd been left since November 25 to give these treats a chance to work, I was horrified by what he'd done can't use the sofa, so I've had to order a new 3 seater recliner just hope it arrives before Christmas, these treats do not work and have read info that they been proven by vets that why I bought them, it wonder the sellers doesn't offer money back guarantee it come across of false advertising under the advertising standard authority. I'm had my Beagle puppy 10 months and he was 12 months old on 6 December and on 7 December it the most damage he done since I've had him from a puppy back in February 2025.

Seemed to work!
We have a nervous dog who is scared of rain, flies. Motorbikes, fireworks, new peopleโฆ. Tried these. They seem to work but I tried them alongside a calming diffuser so itโs difficult to know which one worked or if the combination of the two did the trick. Dog liked them anyway.

Miracle worker for our dog!
I was about to give up all hope and accept that our dog would need to be on sedatives for the rest of her life. Any noise would freak her out, an owl, wind, rain, anything! She would keep us awake all night freaking out, trying to climb out windows, break all the doors down, be hyperventilating, pure fear trembling, you name it, it just wasn't fair on her.I wanted to try some treats before we asked the vets for help. What can I say? Wow! Within 2 days we noticed a difference, she was 'calmer' in herself, wasn't constantly listening for noises, not constantly on 'alert'. At this point I already had high hopes. The real test would be rain.Rain: we had our first heavy rain spell during the night, (this was after a week of being on the treats). Oh my god! What a huge difference! She slept, all night! I was so proud and happy! An owl still scares her, but it doesn't send her into full meltdown mode.Even at the caravan, heavy rain on the tin roof, and she's absolutely fine! These treats are miracle workers! I was hesitant to try them at first, now I'm so glad I did.

Not good for my dog
I have my dog these for 3 days @2 a day she now has diarrhea and the symptoms are still there with added extra as needs to go out to toilet all the time. These might be good for another dog but not mine as I will not give her the rest

A game changer for my anxious pup!
These Zesty Paws Calming Treats have made such a big difference for my dog. She used to get really stressed when I left the house or during loud noises, but now sheโs so much more relaxed and calm. I love that they include natural ingredients like Ashwagandha and L-Tryptophan, and she actually loves the taste! Itโs been a huge help for both of us. Definitely recommend for any dog who struggles with stress or separation anxiety.

works for a 100lb pit bull & Great Dane mix
TL;DR - works really well for a giant breed dog with SEVERE fireworks anxiety, better than anything I've tried giving him.My dog is terrified of fireworks and unfortunately for him, my neighbors celebrate with them ALL year, at least once a week. By "terrified of fireworks" I mean that it's the worst care of firework anxiety any vet or person that sees his panic has ever seen. Any "boom" always sends my dog into panic attacks and hours of panting and trembling. He also won't go for walks after it's dark because he's afraid there will be a firework. As a dog mama, so hard to see him that afraid, and I worry about the effect it has on his health. I've tried everything, VERY strong cbd treats would work okay but the problem was that he wouldn't eat them if he was already panicked. Adaptil spray wouldn't do much for him at all. I've even given him Xanax because my vet recommended it after seeing just how terrified my dog was.On top of those, I play the loudest music I can and have to sit in the bathroom (it's the best sound insulated room in my apartment) with my doggo until the fireworks stop. So I bought these out of desperation and was pleasantly surprised. For reference I have a 100lb pit bull & Great Dane mix that's about 11 years old. I give him two larger pieces of these treats. He LOVES them, so much that he will eat them if he's already in a panic, which is HUGE. I mean, he'll even turn down peanut butter when he's in a firework-panic. So the fact that he eats these is amazing. They kick in pretty quickly, within 15 minutes. And although they don't take away his fear, they definitely subdue it A LOT. Because of his size, I think I could give him more treats but I want to just take the edge off and not overload his body since he's an older dog. After the treats kick in, he's much more calm and my efforts to comfort him actually help. If I play music and give him belly rubs, he doesn't pant or have wide panicked eyes. He's able to calm down in between the fireworks and although he jumps at the sound of one, he quickly settles down again. He also can fall asleep and stay asleep if they aren't too loud which means no more late nights sitting on the bathroom floor for me. These treats definitely work for my dog, and I'll be repurchasing!

Huge disappointment, then it turned around
I was really hopeful these would work, but my dog who is absolutely crazy about peanut butter wouldn't eat them ๐ Spent way too much on something that he doesn't like. He loves everything.Update: He is a 140lb dog and ended up eating 2 of the 3 I gave him, as per the directions, and they worked so fast!!
