It was clear from the start, at Renaissance Art you aren't just a number dealing with a company. The whole transaction was pleasantly personable and lightning fast.I chose the rustic Flight Jacket cover for my large Moleskine notebook. The smell of the leather is wonderfully rich and the feel is warm and authentic. The genuine supple leather fits my notebook like a glove; I just love to hold it in my hands. The three initials spelling my nickname are a nice personal touch.I first put my hardcover sketch book with the thicker pages in the leather sleeve. It was a perfect fit. Then I put the soft cover plain notebook with the thinner pages in there,and it also fits perfectly. That's the beauty of true craftsmanship and real, quality leather. It molds and cradles the notebook each time seamlessly.The small slit on the right inside of the cover is a smart solution for those who prefer to use the Moleskine elastic strap. It's gorgeous.Thanks Arthur and thanks to the people at Renaissance Art! ### ⭐⭐ Poor craftmanship for the price, unacceptble after purchase service *by L***W on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on June 12, 2014* Upon finding this online and finding it to be quite expensive considering the simplicity of the item I decided to order as there was really no other options.When I received it the leather was of good quality but I instantly noticed a stitching defect. I contacted the seller and they admitted that it was not only a mistake but that it also shouldn't have been sent out that way and offered to just fix it.When I emailed back to pursue the fix and suggest also to replace it I never heard back. A second email also went without reply which is a totally unacceptable business practice. The seller website touts painless return or fixes but it appears to be just lip service.This isn't a complicated leather product and certainly for the price I at least expect the stitching to be correct and not sent out with a defect especially given the price.
