45W YCCSKY Charger for Nintendo Switch,AC Adapter for Nintendo Swith - Fast Travel Wall Charger with 5FT USB C Cable 15V/3A Power Supply for Switch Supports TV Mode and Dock Station (Black)

Update (March 29th, 2023): It's been 2 months and not much to report! The charger is still worthy of my initial 5⭐️ review. It has held up tremendously after being stepped on, swung around, and chewed on over time. LOL. One thing I do want to mention that I've learnt since my purchase: You MUST plug it in to the wall directly! No surge protectors or extension cords. Enjoy! Original review (January 20th, 2023): My 7 yr. old unfortunately lost the original charger that came with the OLED model Nintendo Switch we got her for her birthday. After reading a few reviews for similar chargers sold here on Amazon, I decided on this one and I’m glad I did. We’ve currently owned this replacement Switch charger for 1 week, (at the time of this review) so I can’t speak to the durability of it quite yet. It definitely seems to be a very well made product thus far. My daughter was previously complaining that her Switch wouldn’t hold a charge properly if she played it while it was plugged up. We found out via Google that the type of charger we were using wasn’t sufficient enough to power the Switch. THIS charger completely solved the issue!! Now, she can play again while the Switch is charging AND the battery lasts much longer than before when docked and/or in handheld mode. I am extremely happy with my purchase, but I will update my review if that changes. I am also including pictures of the box I received the charger in, front and back.

Great charger

It was just what I needed.

Worked like a charm. It charges fast and fit the dock perfectly.

Good product

I've had this for a while now, and just compared it to the charging capability of my son's charger (which is the Nintendo brand one that comes with the Switch). While it does its job, I'd suspected that this charger was a lot slower than the original, and it definitely is. The cord also is a bit thinner and significantly lighter, so I suspect it isn't made to charge as fast. I just wanted to write this review for anyone considering getting this; if you really need a charger, this does the job, but it takes a LOT longer. I'll be looking for a product that performs more closely to the original.
