When I'm doing the occasional 'tough' cutting (long thick weeds/pond reeds, etc) then it lasts less than that depending on how tough but far longer than any other line I've used. Not once have I 'lost' one of the ends totally, unlike all previous lines I've used when it seemed to happen all the time. I'd say this lasts at least 3, if not 4, times longer than other lines that are supposedly good quality.
