I might have an obsession with PDRN & Korean hydrogel masks in general (use them twice a week, every week) so I was excited to try these out from this new to me Korean Skincare company. This hydrogel mask is thicker than most I've used and is perfectly hydrated without being dripping wet upon removal which means it stays in place comparatively well. I love to wear hydrogel masks overnight so after washing my face, I like to still apply my normal evening skincare, brush teeth, then apply the mask. Sleeping in these masks is not mandatory, though I do recommend giving yourself at least 60 minutes wearing time for full effect. I recommend applying this mask immediately before you are ready to lay down as the mask, especially when laid over skincare, can tend to slip around a bit (first few minutes especially). This mask stays in place the entire night, though I do put my sleep mask on top which I'm sure helps. I do feel like these masks in particular are less prone to tearing because they are thicker. This mask delivers my skin a smoother texture and radiant next day glow when I remove it the following morning and impressively the glow and hydration last throughout that entire day. I am in my 40’s with combo, sensitive, sometimes reactive( rosacea) prone skin that still has occasional breakouts. All said, maintaining optimal skin barrier health while also not causing congestion (esp. in these hottest, most humid months) is my highest goal and hydrogel masks help me balance these things really well. As does PDRN, which is a regenerative star I adore for not only supporting barrier repair and calming inflammation but also improving my skin's texture and overall resilience. I look closely at ingredients and do try to find masks that are fragrance free. Unfortunately, this one isn't, though I do see many ingredients I love. In addition to the PDRN, this contains Centella Asiatica, panthenol, allantoin & chamomile which all provide a calming layer my skin really appreciates. There is also a nice array of antioxidants here (3-O-ethyl ascorbic acid, ferulic acid, glutathione, & tocopherol) which, along with adenosine, not only assist with delivering my skin a great glow but also support my anti-aging goals. It's important to note this also contains 10% niacinamide which is an ingredient I appreciate for its help with both barrier support and ongoing oil balance though I suspect some with more sensitive skin might not be able to handle this 10% concentration, especially as this also contains fragrance, I urge any fellow sensitive skin readers to proceed cautiously and maybe not start with overnight use. While I myself have sensitive skin, I have not experienced any signs of irritation from this mask but because of those two ingredients I also know this is not a mask I would reach for when my skin feels more sensitive or reactive. Instead it is one I reach for when my barrier seems resilient yet I am seeking a true next day glow and maximized skin hydration that won't involve heavy moisturizer use. Overall these are masks I am enjoying for the glow and hydration they provide and a great option for those that do well with fragrance and higher concentrations of niacinamide.

The masks have a thick, rubbery texture with small red dots throughout the gel and are saturated with a generous amount of serum. They are designed to gradually become more transparent as they dry during use. I really liked the serum. There was plenty of it in each packet, and after using the mask my skin looked brighter, more hydrated and had a nice healthy glow that was still noticeable the next day. I also thought it helped calm some of my smaller blemishes. As the mask dries it becomes almost completely clear, so it doesn't feel quite as bulky as when it's first applied. This mask didn't really stay up well and kind of slid down my face, it's a little heavy. The application could definitely be improved. It wasn't immediately obvious which side was supposed to face the skin, and the thick rubbery texture made the mask harder to handle than the thinner sheet masks I usually use. The upper and lower pieces were also difficult to line up properly, and mine actually tore while I was trying to position them. Although most of the mask becomes transparent as it dries, the little red dots stay visible, and they also remain white over blemishes, making them look a bit like pimple patches while you're wearing the mask. Overall, despite the awkward application, I thought the results were worth it. The serum left my skin looking noticeably brighter and more hydrated, and I liked that it seemed to calm minor blemishes as well. If the mask itself were easier to apply it would be an even better product, but as it is I still think these are effective and a good value for the money.

I own and review products from quite a few of the AmorePacific brands and this is one that I did not know existed until it showed up in my Vine feed. Because I love their other product lines so much (especially IOPE, Mamonde, and Sulwhasoo) I opted to try it even though this particular mask isn't especially targeted to me (my skin is already pretty bright from a regular skincare routine and I don't struggle with much discoloration or dark spots). The first thing it know here is that this is an INTENSIVE treatment, and I really mean that. As they state on their global AMORE MALL page, the main active here is "*powerful 10% high-concentration niacinamide for intense tone-up glow effects." This is a generally safe and effective amount for occasional treatments BUT it can cause irritation if your skin is sensitive or new to active ingredients. The typical recommended clinical strength is between 2% and 5%, so this is very potent. It should be reserved for targeting stubborn concerns like excess oil or dark spots on very resilient skin that is already used to the standard concentration of niacinamide via consistent use in a daily skincare routine. If that is not you, ideally you will start low and slow with niacinamide or at least try a 5% treatment mask before this one. However, there are some things you can do to minimize risk if you have sensitive or reactive skin: 1) patch test a drop of the serum on your inner arm to check for redness, itching, or other signs of irritation 2) use for less than the recommended time on first use and remove immediately if you experience irritation 3) discontinue use if you notice new flaking, burning, or dry patches 4) do not apply on broken skin or a weak barrier That said, for most people, using these as an occasional treatment is probably not going to cause issues, especially since the PDRN in this formulation will help with moisture retention and repair and that can help counter some of the effects of a stronger dose of niacinamide. Since I fall into the very sensitive and reactive skin category as I have rosacea and eczema, I have to be more careful because my barrier can really struggle due to environmental stressors. While I can use lower concentrations of niacinamide daily with no issues, not everyone with my skin type can. Still, I feel comfortable using these masks occasionally, but maybe only when I really want to look especially good. Even I'd do it a few days before an event or whatever to make sure there is no reaction, and probably only after I've tried these a few times to make sure they work well for me with more regular use. For those with oily and acne-prone skin, this is already a very popular product in Korea so it's probably going to be amazing for you. I encourage you to look at the reviews on the global Olive Young site if you have this skintype since they'd already had access to the product for a while. You will probably be able to use these much more regularly than I can, and with greater benefits as my skin is typically clear and bright. A lot of Koreans use this as an overnight mask with great success. Like all gel masks, this can be tricky to apply and it doesn't withstand a lot of adjustment without tearing. On the plus side, it does stay on without slippage once you have it where you want it, though I try to only do chores/move around when using the watery hydrogels since I find they slip less. I was super happy with how bouncy and moisturized my skin was after using, which was very interesting considering the potential drawbacks here for my dry, dehydrated skin. I've always been a topical PDRN skeptic, but I will say that this and one other product really did amazing things for my skin. On the other hand, I've tried TONS of PDRN products of all types that were really no different than other products in my rotation, so I think formulation and concentration are the key here. For me, the PDRN in this mask works, especially as I always apply gel masks to skin that is still damp from hydrating toners. Overall I highly recommend this a treatment mask and think that it's pretty fairly priced for an AP product ($5 per mask is on the cheaper side for treatment masks). It's definitely a quality formulation for those that can tolerate the high levels of niacinamide, and AP has amazing quality control for their products and a long-standing reputation as one of the best K-beauty manufacturers that focuses a great deal on R&D and innovation. I'm always very happy with their products and I'd encourage you to look into their other brands if this product/line isn't for you. As for me, I am looking forward to trying other products in this line based on this experience, and I'm glad Vine brought the brand to my attention as an AP fan. Hope that helps!

I love masks but I don't love how they slide around and don't stay on unless you are lying down. I didn't have that issues with these masks. The masks are saturated with product and come in two pieces so they are easy to adjust/apply to the face. After a few minutes, the mask had set in place so I could do other things while using it. I let it stay on for a couple of hours and removed it before going to bed. In that time, I found the mask left my skin feeling moisturized and smooth - just as I had hoped. I've been using Niacinamide products for a while so i was okay with the high concentration in theses masks, but someone new to it may want to go easy. I did not detect any smell in the product which was great because I prefer unscented facial products. For the ease of use, effectiveness in moisturizing my skin, I found these masks to be a good value for the money.

These PDRN face masks are a wonderful weekend treat for me. I love that they come in an upper and lower piece because I believe they are designed to fit a flatter rounder face. I have a longer face mask and prominent nose so I do need to alter this mask to fit my face quite a bit. The good news is that I’m able to do it pretty easily with my fingernail. For me, the eyes are not wide enough and the mouth is way too small for me, so I have to make them bigger. The mask is made from some type of gelatinous material so you can carve away to open up an area with a fingernail pretty easily. By my second mask, I knew exactly how to make it work. I could even use the eye cutouts to put on the sides of my nose to get more coverage, since the nose piece is also too small for me. The mask itself is incredibly refreshing and enjoyable to use. I keep mine on for a full hour. You do have to stay somewhat less active though, or the mask will slide down your face due to gravity. But I’m able to sit and watch TV or read without issue. As far as the results, well I cannot tell yet, but my skin does feel incredibly soft, moisturized and refreshed after use. This is an Amorepacific product which is an excellent and reputable K-Beauty brand. I am in love with every Primera product I’ve ever tried. I am so happy it’s on Amazon. I’d give this 5 stars were it not for the mask modifications required.

I LOVE these masks! This is the new gel type, arrives in two pieces which helps provide a better fit with some room for overlapping. I have a broad midface and always need to make small cuts in masks to get them to fit properly but was expecting that so don't consider it a problem. The masks were unscented, full of serum and feel fantastic on the skin. After just a few minutes it had adhered to my face and I was able to go about my evening routine while it stayed in place. Feels deeply hydrating and moisturizing and my skin was soaking it up. Left it on for a couple of hours until the mask had turned completely translucent. Immediately after removal my fine lines were a bit plumped and my skin was super soft. Effective and soothing. Active ingredients include niacinamide, glycerin, shea butter, soybean ferment extract, panthenol, jojoba esters, allantoin, sunflower seed, centella asiatica, morus alba root, adenosine, macadamia seed and others. High quality masks offered at a reasonable price point, similar to single masks you could find at any beauty store. Worth it!

This review is for Primera (PRMR PDRN Niacinamide Gel Sheet Mask These masks do a good job of hydrating and smoothing my skin. They're a bit fussier to use than most masks I've tried. The masks I received didn't have the eyes cut out fully, and it was difficult to manage the slippery masks to cut the eyes out for proper wearing as shown. Once you get that sorted, the mask does stay in place. The recommendation is that you wear these masks overnight. The masks didn't adhere well enough for me to be able to do this, and I just left the mask on until it turned transparent. It took about 45 minutes. After I removed the mask, I followed the instructions to pat in the remaining serum. The serum remained very sticky on my skin for a long time. I finally had to rinse it off with water. Once fully dry, I noticed that my skin felt very smooth and hydrated. The next day, my makeup went on smoothly and evenly with no dry patches. My skin looked rejuvenated. These masks do a good job with some effort and time.

These masks work really well to leave skin hydrated and plump. Lots of nice ingredients in here. You get PDRN which I find really moisturizing, a good dose of niacinamide which has several benefits including helping even texture and pigment, soybean ferment, Vit C and ubiquinone among others. They do contain fragrance but to be honest I really couldn’t tell. Keep in mind my sense of smell isn’t too keen but they don’t strike me as highly scented like other masks I’ve tried. And they certainly didn’t cause any irritation for me. Just the opposite. The masks stay in place well despite having a serum. They aren’t as dry as other hydrogel masks! I really like that about these. The serum has a glycerin type feeling that makes it very moisturizing and yet they don’t slip down my face, perhaps because the serum is a little thicker in consistency. They aren’t ridiculously thick and they’re not too thin that they rip or break. I have no issue unpacking these and applying them. And because they aren’t too thick or heavy the really firm to the contours of my face well. The size is also good! They don’t leave parts of my face uncovered nor do I get annoyed at the eye or mouth holes. They just make for a good mask experience! I wear mine for an hour or more at a time until they shrink and become darker pink and semi transparent. When done, my skin is so plump, my wrinkles are temporarily smoothed and less noticeable and my skin just feels healthier in general. The price is very reasonable for a box of 4 well made Korean masks. Love them!
