The only way I would know for sure if these seeds are GMO or not, is if I planted the seeds harvested from my plant next year. But I highly doubt it's GMO, this plant grows in the wild like a weed and it keeps coming back, much like Marigolds. I think it's absolutely worth the money, it's probably the best regenerative liver plant out there and a supplement containing this plant it's not cheap. I have yet to plant the seeds. I have a Health food store that sells dry bulk thistle by the container full. So, it makes this on my "to do list." I am a beer drinker and I mix this with Mullein (that I also get at the same store, and for which I have bought seeds for too). I drink them together for a liver detox. My last physical I passed with flying colors. The dry pound price is in the $20 to $30 range, so I am motivated to grow. I live in Arizona and we are just getting ready to hit about three months of 100 degrees plus. When it cools down a bit I will plant some.
