Non stop nail biting suspense!!!
This is possibly the greatest comic book ever created, The story and drama is just beautiful theres nothing else like it, it pulls you in more and more with every turn of the page and the way it drills into the main characters (Marcus lopez) messed up and paranoid mind so well you really do care for him and hope nothing terrible or worse happens to him! I absolutely love Deadly Class and i highly recommend you pick it up!!!!

Third volume in the series of paperbacks which collect issues of the comic Deadly Class. Which tells the story of Marcus, a teenager recruited into an academy that teaches people how to be assassins. This collects issues 12-16 of the comic. Which like the previous volumes, contains violence, strong language, and adult moments, so is only suitable for mature readers. It is not a jumping on point, as there's nothing here to bring new readers up to speed. So they should start with volume one.As with the other volumes, it divides all the issues apart with a chapter page. And has a gallery of covers from them at the back. This does pick up directly from the cliffhanger end to volume two. And the first issue and a half do not let up for a moment. With fight scenes and action that are quite simply stunning reading. Well written and designed on the page, gripping stuff suspense wise, and which also have character drama and development going on in the middle of them. These are real page turners. What follows changes pace, but doesn't let up either. Because it watches Marcus get further into various messes. As ever the writing is superb, because even though he could be very unlikeable, you really want to see what is going to happen to him. And thus these sections will keep you going as well. All are superbly character driven. And it ends on an even bigger cliffhanger than book two. Which promises great drama in book four.Another great read in a superb series.

drugs, drugs, drugs
This episode was darker with a lot of drugs. If you are not a fan of drug use and the effects it has on people then this volume will not sit well with you as it did not with me. Unfortunately my views are a little coloured against this volume it does a brilliant thing of highlighting the dangers of drugs and isolation but at the same time there are so many drugs involved there seems to be little story for me. I hope the rest of the series picks up.
