Cut Flower Food – Keeps Flowers Fresh Longer, Brighter Blooms & Extended Vase Life, 8 oz

Gave it as gifts to my daughter & daughter-in-law after I got it and loved it!!!

This has worked well on all of my garden flowers this year. Lilacs, hydrengas, cone flowers, spirea, iris. It is yellowish in color though; so if you are using a clear vase, be prepared for that. I do wish that the opening to the container was smaller. It is as liquidy as water and the wide opening means I often put probably too much in. Alum works great on hydrengeas but this is definately a more cost effective solution to their short shelf life. I wish I had purchased before peony season ended...not sure how it will work for those but I'll give it a try next spring.

Agree with what some other reviewers say, they die quicker with this than in plain water. Purchased to keep my birthday flowers fresh, the next day they were dead. Even the daisies, which are a very robust flower. The liquid also has a colored tint, so unattractive in clear vases. I wish I read the reviews more closely before purchasing, but they were the only thing I could get with next day delivery. Adding sugar to the water probably would have worked better than using this

Not impressed. My flowers seemed to die quicker than they would have if I used plain water.

Better than powder, tsp makes 2 it's. Flowers last more than a wk for me. Preferred product for value.
