When I switched from a multi-blade, cartridge razor to a single blade safety razor, I also switched from using a shaving foam to the Cremo shave cream. And wow, both deliver a close, smooth shave! Reviewing outcome: checks all the boxes. Experience? For me (and I realize I am in the minority), it falls flat.Cremo does exactly what it promises. It protects the skin, reduces irritation, and lets a razor glide with clinical efficiency. If shaving were a task to be optimized, this would be an excellent solution.But after using this for many years, I realize I am underwhelmed.It doesn’t lather, it doesn’t bloom, it doesn’t announce itself. For me there’s no sensory payoff: no bold scent, no foam, no small pleasure that says “the day has begun.” It works quietly, dutifully, and forgettably.Which is to say: it performs like a well-designed appliance. Reliable, efficient, and oddly joyless.I doubt there will ever be a scene in a movie or a tv show where a guy we're supposed to love wipes away condensation from a mirror, snaps open a tube of Cremo, and treats himself to a shave. There's a reason we see this scene play out with old fashioned cheap stuff from a can.So, like I say, it really does the job, hence five stars. But increasingly I feel like I want to enjoy the small theater of the sink: this hiss of the can, the expansion of the foam, and the tactile pleasure of lather. And in this regard, for me, Cremo feels less like an upgrade and more like something essential has been removed. It's a premium product that implicitly promises more than just efficiency, so I feel like I can say this.I don’t doubt its quality. I just don’t enjoy using it.

After my go-to shaving cream was discontinued, I decided to give Cremo a try, and it is truly fantastic. It provides an incredibly close, clean shave with zero razor burn—plus, a single tube lasts a long time since a little goes a long way. While some of their other scents are a bit too strong for my taste and tend to linger, the Classic Citrus is perfect. It's pleasant and mild, so you don't have to worry about your shaving cream doubling as a heavy cologne all day.

On the left of the picture is what I've discovered used for nearly a decade. On the right is what showed up in my latest delivery.I discovered Cremo Original in 2015 and immediately decided it was an amazing product. My Amazon subscribe and save order history tells me I've purchased at least 3 dozen tubes of Original Cremo since then. When this months order arrived I noticed the tube was more off-white than bright white, but I didn't think much of it. When I went to use it, it came out of the tube in a firmer strip than I'm used to. Applying it to my face it smeared out much thinner than normal, not as foamy as normal. But it still gave excellent lubricantion and a good shave. Next day, same thing. I finally looked more closely at the tube , Citrus? What happened to my Original Cremo? My Subscribe and Save still says Original. The bag it was shipped in says Original. But the tubes say Citrus. When I look at the product page it shows Citrus. What happened to Original? Is this supposed to be "New and Improved " ?Say it isn't so Joe! What do I do to get my Original back?5 stars is for Cremo Original. I'm not as happy a out this new formula. I also don't detect much of a Citrus scent either but the feel of the shave cream is definitely different.

Best shaving cream. Only need a small amount for a close shave. Good value for money.

Lo primero que noté al abrir por primera vez es su aroma refrescante, la menta se siente bastante presente pero al terminar el rasurado se disipa en unos minutos así que no es molesto.La lubricación al rasurado depende mucho de la cantidad de agua, esta debe ser la correcta, pues muy poca hace que la navaja no resbale bien y mucha agua hace que este se disuelva bastante, pero no es dificil de dar con la mezcla correcta. Despues de dar la primer pasada, usualmente es suficiente solo añadir más agua con las manos para reactivar para la segunda lo cual ahorra tiempo y producto.La frescura que deja en la piel (y lo increiblemente suave que la deja!) es genial. Deja una sensación de limpieza y comodidad en la cara, he notado que no es tan necesario el uso de un aftershave al usar Cremo ya que deja mi piel bastante bien y no irritada, ya que mi piel, principalmente el el bigote es bastante sensible.Definitivamente volveré a adquirir este producto, posiblemente en otras fragancias, aunque este par de tubos me durará bastante tiempo ya que un poco sirve para mucho (posiblemente con el tamaño de dos monedas de $1 cubriría toda mi cara incluyendo la barba hasta el cuello.
