I think the bed is ultimately way too high. I paid a contractor $130 to put this bed together for me & I didn’t see it until it was completed (reason I am not returning). I can’t speak on ease of installation but it did take 2 men 90 minutes to put it together. The color is nice, not many scratches. But it’s so high up my daughter can just barely sit up without her head touching the ceiling. And has to crawl off the ladder to not hit her head. Not sure how comfortable anyone would be watching tv this high up. And putting the sheets on the bed was a nightmare. I’m going to have to order a step stool. And I can hear my kid jumping down getting off the bed from the ladder. If the bed was a foot shorter, it would be perfect. This was a poor design imo. I live in a townhouse with I assume normal heighted ceilings for reference. Yes it’s much space underneath but to what expense. Review: Great bed - Bed is great. Myself set it up in a couple hours but that was because it was installed properly. Blue loctite on every bolt so they don't come loose as it is my childs bed. Went the extr@ mile and used clamps to secure the be to the wall on studs( 3 seper@te spots) The bed now does not move a cm.
