Its niacin so not much to say there. However, as others have noted I strongly advise ramping up to the full 500 mg. I did the following:- 100 mg one day- 250 mg two days- 350 mg one day- 420 mg one day- 500 mg thereafterI may ramp up to 500 mg twice per day. Playing that by ear. I weigh 195, male and eat and exercise well. I had flushing pretty bad when I went to the 350 (borderline uncomfortable - looked like a lobster). But after that it has been bearable so definitely ramp up.

I decided to try this to help lower my cholesterol in a more natural way. I did not know about something called Niacin flushing. I took the capsule and about 15 minutes later I had a VIOLENT reaction to it. My face turned bright red and felt like it was on fire! My husband said it looked like my face was melting!!! I was overheating, all my limbs had intense tingling and itching, my heart was racing and I was dizzy. I mean it was CRAZY and very scary. Subsequently I read this is a reaction many others experience when taking niacin. It should be in the description of this production you don’t think you’re going to die!!!! The worst of it was over in 30-40 minutes but the itching lingered. So while this product may be great for some people I don’t think I’ll ever take it again!

The product arrived in great condition, securely packaged with easy-to-swallow capsules. When I first took it, I experienced mild body itching, which I found out can be a normal reaction to vitamin B3. Still, it seems like a high-quality supplement.

The media could not be loaded. Read cautions so you know what’s a normal temporary reaction. Plan to not go any where for a few hours after taking.

I enjoy the flush though it diminishes with time and frequent use. If I watch what I eat, I notice my belly is flatter. I haven’t checked my triglycerides yet, my initial reason for use recommended by my doctor, but it seems to be working. I almost just feel like I have less fat in my blood intuitively. Don’t take my word for it. Try it yourself!Nice starter strength. My doctor recommended 500 mg. Then take 1,000 mg the second month and thereafter.Seems to be effective. I lost about 5 pounds this month as well.Honestly, I forgot the price, but it seems like that was one of the reasons I bought it. Decent price point. Looked reputable.I’m sold. Solid product.

This gave me an allergic reaction within an hour of taking it for the first time. This was followed by a trip to Urgent Care, then being transferred to the emergency room via ambulance. My whole body was internally on fire from this product. My heart rate was also elevated. A steroid shot to start didn’t reverse the effects. I was then given an EpiPen injection which finally reversed the allergic reaction. So, please be forewarned about this product. You may or may not have the same results. It was promptly discontinued and discarded after this event occurred.
