At first, just like most reviews, it worked great. But only nine weeks after buying it, I heard a pop, then smelled burning, then saw the cooler was off. Won't turn on again. I'm passed the return and out $130. Most Chinese junk.

Worked just fine with no problems until about 2 weeks after return window closed. Now it is leaking. There is a slot on the reservoir where the water coming off the pads goes through and it can't keep up with the water coming through the pads. Pooling and leaking with no apparent way to stop it. Reservoir itself is not leaking. So very frustrated.

Fabulous air cooler thats super quiet So the machine comes with plastic bottles that you fill with water and freeze. You put shoulder bottles in the bottom blue chamber and add water. Then on the top of the unit you add ice cubes. Once you start the machine and press the cold button the unit starts pumping ice cold water and it wets a filter the fan blows the cold air. Its that simple. The machine comes with a remote. The grills move if you choose to use that function. It has a bunch of fan speeds. Its really a value for the money. Its way better than any fan because it cools and does not need to be vented.

Water pump has quit numerous times, the first few times I was able to tap on it and it would start again, but now it’s completely dead leaving me with an expensive fan, and of course it quit 1 week after the return deadline! Save your money and buy something else!

I got this portable air conditioner for my living room, and I’m honestly impressed. It’s super easy to use, no need to install anything in a window. I just filled up the 3gallon water tank, turned it on, and it started cooling the room fast. I love that it has 6 speeds and 3 modes, so I can switch it up depending on how hot it is. The remote is a lifesaver, especially when I’m across the room with the kids or busy cooking. It’s not too loud, and the air feels fresh thanks to the swamp cooler effect. Perfect for keeping us cool without the hassle.

Like other reviews I saw, we found that either after several weeks, the unit leaks. I attempted to caulk the rim of the reservoir, but the leak path is actually in the tower itself due to water pooling on the lower surface just above the reservoir and migrating to the edges, which don’t overlap with the reservoir itself. Videos show leak from base when fully assembled and show leak path by pulling out the reservoir slightly or by removing the honeycomb for a clear view. Unit is used indoors but is outside for demonstration due to excessive leaking. When working, the air cooler was marginal at best. We had to use refrigerated water to get cooler air to come out.

This MIGHT work in a very small room that doesn’t need much cooling down. The air blown out is only slightly cooler than a regular fan would be. Even with both trays filled with ice and the water being ice cold. Idk if I got a bum one or not, but the sound is horrible. If the air had been cold, I might have dealt with it, but because it’s not cold I have returned it. No chance of sleeping next to this thing.
