The applicator on Nécessaire The Lip Balm is made of a metal called Zamac. This hypoallergenic metal tip is designed to cool the lips on contact, providing a soothing, sensation when you apply the balm. When using the applicator on a hot summer day, you’ll appreciate the companies ingenuity.

I’ve been trying Al different types of lip balms and chapsticks and this is by far my favorite! It feels thick, but it feels light on your lips. It comes off sticky but it’s not. Your lips actually soak in the balm to make them soft and moisturized. It’s not cakey or thick. And my lips feel so good after one apply. I definitely love this it’s a go to for me now. Absolutely worth it! My man said that’s so expensive for lip balm I don’t want one. I had him try it and now he wants his own! And he’s a picky guy. Definitely recommend!

I love this lip balm. It's only been about 3 days since I started using it, but the result it brought was spectacular. My lips were dry and cracked really badly due to the cold weather the past few days and I was in desperate need of a lip balm that would hydrate my lips, and that's when I found this product. After using it daily for 3 days my lips feel nice and smooth and the dry skin that was on my lips are mostly gone by now. So I recommend this if your lips are really cracked and dry. I know some reviews say that it's pricey for how much your getting, but you really don't need to squeeze much out of the tube to put on your lips. Just a really small bead of it can be used for your whole lip. You don't have to squeeze a whole lot of it out. Also the duration of it before reapplying is about 3-4 hours I would say. That's just me when I'm indoors most of the day. If you're outside the duration might be less, maybe 2-3 hours at most.

I really love this lip balm. It’s cooling (but not in a bad way) and keeps your lips hydrated. I thought the price was high but it really has helped my lips not be dry and I think its worth it for the cleaner ingredients and yes Im surprised to say the cooling effect.

Love the applicator. Fairly thick balm. Similar to another ceramide balm I have but not quite as thick which I like. It also has a better flavor than the other one (the remedy) which has a bit of a bitter taste. The mint is subtle so if you hate minty balms you would probably tolerate this well. Keeps my lips soft and moisturized for hours. Definitely pricey. That's kinda how it is for a luxury item. This has more ingredients working to soothe and heal my eczema skin than your average cheap balm. If cheap lipbalm works for you I wouldn't bother splurging on this. If your lip skin needs some serious help this is worth a try.

I’m obsessed with this lip balm and everything I’ve tried from Necessaire (their deodorant and sex gel are also incredible - trust me). The applicator is so good and the balm itself is actually hydrating, I don’t need to reapply every 5 mins. I’m on my second tube.

A little goes a long way. Feels amazing and lasts. Great smell. And texture, not sticky in the bad way. I keep it in my fridge now in summer, and it's amazing!

I'm super picky with chapstick. My lios are consistently dry, and yes. I drink water. This guy? Love it. Keeps my lips moisturized. Cute packaging. I do have to reapply a lot though. I also feel it is more a 'gloss' rather than hydrating. I could say like three words and then wonder where it went. It's cute though!
