This snorkel is awesome! Tested it in a pool and it definitely closes off if you dive underwater. I was skeptical at first but it works! No water enters and unnecessary to clear it.

This was my first experience (at 40) with a snorkel in the ocean. Took several tries to get the timing right and not drink the ocean but that was a me problem. I thought the fit and functions were great. 100% recommend!

I'm a senior woman trying to learn how to swim. This device is better than others I've seen. If you go under water the top closes so water does not get in. Unfortunately, my old self could not adjust to breathing in and out through my mouth. Because it's worth keeping, I gave it to a young swimmer.

Snorkel was an easy fit with flexible piece and the push button release on the attachment piece is very convenient. Also, easy to clean after each use. The purple color was attractive.

I bought the same snorkel about 5 years ago, using it every day during my morning 50 minute swim. From time to time it's a good habit to clean it in soapy hot water, (sanitize). Last week i was not careful with my cleaning procedure and damaged the purging valve (started to leak during my swimming). Thank you Amazon to still have this AEGEND snorkel in your inventory, it is my favorite snorkel and still very affordable compared to other snorkels and it is now available in different attractive colors as well.
