I have a great Pyrenees and I ordered an extra large and as you can see it was too large ### ⭐⭐⭐ Good for keeping paws warm and dry if you get the right size however seem to have little traction and make dog sound like horse *by T***M on Reviewed in the United States on January 13, 2015* Purchased the 3x-small version for my 12 lb terrier/poodle pup.They seem to fit him well, if they stay on - which I think is the problem for most dog owners, their dogs, and the boots. Once I got my pup to cooperate with me and put them on tightly, they stayed on pretty well. Though, one time one came off in the snow it was rather hard to find. The next time out I tightened the strap up a bit more and it seemed to stay on better.I did notice that my dog still slips all over the place with these things on, though unfortunately. Not great for playing in deep snow for obvious reasons of them falling off and getting lost, but pretty decent just walking in thin snow or on cold surfaces. Both times after we came on I checked his feet and they seemed relatively dry unless any snow happened to fall in (my dog has hairy poodly legs so all the snow gets stuck on there instead). The reflective band also works well. Kind of a pain in the tail (heh) to put on when the dog is moving around and only moderately easier when still but eventually the paw should easily fit in there. From there you can tighten the band with the velcro strap. Depending on how tight it is you may have some slack.I personally got these to protect my dogs' feet from the snow, cold, and salt and to mostly keep them warm and they seem to do a pretty good job, especially for the price. My dog seems to forget he's even wearing them outside for the most part but is still getting used to them while inside. Outside they've made him sound like a horse as the rubber soles hit the snow on the street. I couldn't help but too laugh.Update (12/2016): After only one winter with these, holes started appearing in the shoes. These weren't worn extensively, only moderately. I patched them up and they still do the trick, for the most part, but the quality seems to not be there if you have to buy a new pair every winter. Before they fell apart though, they worked for keeping his feet dry. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Helped us greatly during a really tough time *by J***6 on Reviewed in the United States on October 6, 2013* We purchased numerous of the Guardian Gear boots for our German Shepherd, Boca, who was diagnosed with Degenerative Myleopathy, a horrible disease. The product was useful because as the disease progresses, the dog starts dragging their back feet a little and gets cut up. We used them to cover his back feet and they were a life saver. We tried a lot of treatments, and in reality probably went a little too far keeping him around, but without these boots it would have been really tough to have the extra time we had with Boca at the end.They tear up after a while and we went through a lot of them, but because of our situation they were really put through a tough test.
