Great hard water chelating shampoo! Removes mineral deposits that cause chemically processed or chlorine damaged hair to become brittle & split. It also helps smooth the cuticle of the hair shaft, improving smooth texture & shininess. It also makes hair less tangly & "sticky" when it's wet, giving it better slip when combing it out after a wash. I used it all up & will reorder. I use it regularly, about one every week or so. It does what it is supposed to do, so I feel the value is good. It smells good. Malibu has a freat reputation because it does what it is supposed to do.

So it leaked on arrival but not much. But I used it and it left my hair super smooth after good conditioning afterward. I'm not going to get the conditioner because what I really want is in this shampoo and I can just use my own conditioner afterward to great affect. Literally my curls feel clean but not stripped. Great product! Only used it once, but I'll probably use it once a month. I use Cera Ve 2 in 1 for shampoo most of the time. Listen, I know it's not fancy but it works and my scalp is so healthy. Then I use a toner conditioner and my curls are happy. We'll see how this continues to work in my routine, but it's a great great start.

I never leave reviews but I have to brag about this product! I’ve been showering with well water for awhile now and have never had any issues with my hair. We recently moved into our first house and since then my hair has been terrible!! After I would shower and my hair would dry it would be slimy and straw like. Greasy and dry if that makes sense. I thought I had no other options until I literally googled what would help. Did very little research and bought this shampoo on a whim. I just took my first shower with it and my hair is AMAZING. The softest it has been in awhile I am shocked! I used the shampoo and my own conditioner and it worked wonders so happy it worked definitely recommend! My only complaint and why I gave it 4 stars is the packaging was poor. Some of it leaked out of the bottle which is disappointing but still worth the purchase

This item is great. This is a repeat buy, but first from Amazon. The product itself has been a game changer for me. I have naturally “dirty” blonde hair, but also have extremely hard water with lots of iron that over time build up of those deposits turned my hair a very gross brassy color. Every time I went to the salon to try and color it to improve it, it turned a horrible ash/green. So after doing some research, I decided it was worth trying. It was wise investment, 💯! Full disclosure: I first bought the Hard Water Wellness kit, and have been using the shampoo (and conditioner) consistently since. My hair feels and looks better than it has in years. It’s a decent size bottle for what it does, and it has a yummy orange cream fragrance that is amazing! It’s worth every penny. The only issue I have with it coming from Amazon was that the cap was not sealed tight and some leaked out. Luckily, it was a short span of time to get to me and not much was lost to the box.

Although I've only used this hard water shampoo twice, I'm giving it 5 stars. I had no idea that it would remove the hard water buildup in just one shampoo. I noticed the color being less brassy with the first shampoo. I washed it again today and my curls and color look soooooo much healthier. I didn't enjoy the tangles but if it's going to restore my hair to shine and bounce, I'll deal with the tangles once a week.

Definitely notice a difference between regular shampoo and using this but not the best clarifying shampoo I've ever used but I had ultimately picked this one because it seemed most affordable. In future I would consider spending a little more but I also have a LOT of hair. Might be fine for people with less volume of hair and maybe not severe hard water problems.

I rarely write reviews, but this shampoo has genuinely changed the game for me. I've got wavy/curly hair, and everyone always says that you should condition and rarely shampoo. I've tried product after product of all kinds trying to get my hair to look and feel good, but it always was a frizzy mess, and felt like straw. Combine that with my hair starting to thin out, and my confidence was gone. After seeing a random post online about this shampoo, I decided it couldn't hurt to try it. I thought that maybe I had hard water, but had never tested it. After just one wash, I was stunned. My hair feels softer than it has in years, a lot of the frizz is gone, and it's become so much easier to style. I'm still figuring out what works best for my hair in terms of wash frequency, combining with other products, etc, but this shampoo has changed the game for me. As a side note, I ordered the smaller bottle, and it came in without any leakage or issues. Since it's a different bottle type than the larger bottle that gets so many bad reviews due to leakage, it might just be less susceptible to breaking in transit.

My hair looks so oily and dead but when I realized it's because of hard water and gave this shampoo a try, my hair went back to how it was before. This is now my standard shampoo and will buy more next time when I ran out of Malibu C shampoo again.

Since we moved into a home in the country with well water, my hair has been horrible, like straw. Our water is so hard, full of minerals like calcium, iron, magnesium, etc. I've tried the Malibu C Hard Water shampoo 3 times now and it works! My hair is in much better condition. The shampoo has a very pleasant mild citrus type of scent that is not like heavy perfume. I can't tolerate heavy artificial scents as I am very sensitive to them. This one doesn't affect me at all in a negative way. I highly recommend this shampoo for anyone who is dealing with hard water.

So soft and gentle! Highly recommend this shampoo and matching conditioner - the green tinge in my blonde hair is long gone and it always feels soft and luxurious. Lovely scent too which makes my hair smell so clean as well as look terrific. It may seem a little expensive but it's well worth it as I don't need to use much of either the shampoo or conditioner.
