Tallow based moisturisers have become incredibly popular in this house, and little pots of it have started popping up everywhere, so there is usually a pot on hand. Most of them, are pretty much all the same stuff, made by the same company, and with the same main four ingredients just with different packaging. This one is slightly different in that it has added olive olive oil, and apparently aloe. To be honest, we've not really noticed any discernible difference in performance between this one and all others. That is to say very good, but no better, and no worse. I use it to help with my chapped lips, my wife uses it on a sore irritated patch of skin of her ankle and as a general moisturiser, and my house mate swears by this on her tattoos. It's great in all cases, and unlike a lot moisturisers, this stuff practically melts into the skin, and doesn't leave any kind of greasiness. It's got a barely perceptible smell, and what smell it has isn't unpleasant. Although you probably wouldn't want to, it's technically edible given the ingredient list, but doesn't taste of much at all, and again what little taste it has isn't unpleasant. My initial worry was that this is more expensive than the moisturisers and chap sticks we were all using before, and now we're all using it, I didn't think it would last long, but it turns a tiny bit does go a very long way, so looks like it'll turn out to be good value after all.

The aroma reminds me of the soap my mum used to buy when I was a kid, it was a sort of cream coloured bar that worked up an incredible lather it had a very feint floral smell to it that forever fixed in my mind as how soap smells. In use it absorbs into the skin quite well, I have a problem with very dry skin on my hands & fingers so I've been using a little of this each morning before I start doing anything. It has helped a little, over the day there's less discomfort and I've not had any cracking apart from when I've been very active but it hasn't actually driven the symptoms back, it's good as a treatment to reduce the problem short term but so far I can't say it looks like being a longer term solution. It's a quite large jar and you don't need to use much sop it will go a long way. It has a three year shelf life and with a manufacture date in March of this year it's good until 2028, that in itself is quite impressive, quite often you find these product are several months old when you get them so to have a delivery that was made just a few weeks ago is pretty good by any standard. It's all natural ingredients animal free testing and fully recyclable packaging it has good environmental standards too. All in all I've found it to be a good product, it's not going to cure my dry skin issue but it does help top alleviate it and to be honest that's enough for me right now. At £12.98 for a 120g pot it's not bad value either, I've had smaller quantities of similar product for around the same price so if you're shopping for something like this I'd say it's one worth putting on your shortlist.

All natural face, body cream made with beef tallow and honey - Works nice on rough skin. I was a bit sceptical when seeing this as this seem to be a much sought after skin/face regime product that seems to work wonders on dry, scaley and itchy skin yet using natural products. We decided to get some of this for to see if the hype and description met real world use. The smell is not what I expected, just smelled of natural type expensive lotion so glad for that. The jar is also great size and was good to see that even a little went a long way. It is very easy to apply, gets absorbed quickly and feels like just a good skin and face lotion. What I have noticed that on several areas that we used to test that had dry skin as well as some with dry/itchy that after a few days of use, these areas were improved, felt nicer and less itchy and will see with long term usage.

This cream is great. It feels good on the skin and in my opinion helps the skin to feel and look good.

I've been using the Beef Tallow Honey Balm (120g) for a few weeks now, and I'm genuinely impressed. The texture is rich but melts beautifully into the skin without feeling greasy. It's incredibly nourishing – my dry patches have completely cleared up, especially around my nose and cheeks. The blend of organic, grass-fed beef tallow with honey gives it a subtle, natural scent that I really like. It feels very soothing and leaves my skin soft, smooth, and well-moisturised all day. A little goes a long way too, so I think this jar will last quite a while. Highly recommend if you struggle with dryness or want a more natural skincare option. I honestly didn't know what to expect from this and was concerned that it might smell of cattle. However, I soon thought otherwise, because it smells very nice and my skin just seems to drink it in, and feel lovely. Happy to recommend it ☺️👍👍👍👍👍

This cream is great - I love how rich it is. I find it easy to apply and I love the texture - as it is whipped it is quite lightweight. But, being tallow, it is still saturated enough to have a bit of greasiness to it. You don't see it but it feels like the skin might leave greasy marks if I touch more delicate fabrics like silk. I love the cream but you have to apply it in good time before night-time so that you can wash it off and not stain your bedding. I don't think it would do so massively, but I'd rather make sure. It is excellent on spots where the skin is drier (if, like me, you suffer with eczema). Love the cream.

Great for skin irritations and moisturizing dry or rough skin. I use it on my sons elbows and knees as he gets very dry and itchy in them areas and this has really helped relieve his itching.
