I have a few triggers that let me know if my iron is low and unfortunately, by the time I pay attention to them, my iron is super low. When I take an iron supplement at that point, I can feel it working in less than 30 minutes. This brand was no different. Unfortunately, I stopped eating one of my biggest iron sources and didn't think anything about it. I ended up becoming super low on iron, drastically low. I noticed I had a problem, but didn't connect the dots right away. I was merely following my newly revised supplements routine while I was also trying to hit the RDAs for everything via it and food. It was the second week that I got an energy boost from the iron. The next day, I still had some energy, but it drained in the afternoon. The following day, I was getting things done from sheer willpower. I had no energy and I felt like my bones were tired. I got done what I could and after a few hours, sat down. I was sad because I knew I didn't have the energy to get anything else done for the day. It wasn't even noon yet! I got back up a few minutes later and took another iron supplement, curious to see if my energy boost two days earlier had been because of it. 30 minutes later I was back at it, getting things done! Since I'd confirmed my iron was very low, I was able to use this supplement to get myself out of the hole and get my levels stable again. I will always keep this supplement on hand! As a woman, I now take it every day of my period and once a week outside of that, to make sure my iron levels stay just above the RDA. Keep in mind that iron is best absorbed every other day and that the upper limit (the max you should take) of iron is 45mg daily. This supplement has 65mg and it's a really good form of iron that absorbs really well. Do not take this every day unless you have a NEED to do so. Even when my levels were super low I only took it about 4 days in a row and then three times a week for one week before my period started. This was on top of me still getting 13-15mg daily from food. If you're having issues with your iron levels, get this supplement!

Great supplement. Definitely improve iron levels.

Easy to swallow and I felt good, but the constipation was horrible. I then went to every other day, I’ll see how that does.

Bought these to keep my iron levels up during pregnancy. They worked great. Love that they are combined with the vitamin C for absorption - just one less thing to take. They are small and easy to swallow if you have a hard time taking pills. Never had a problem with my iron levels once I started taking these.
