Ear and Forehead Thermometer for Adults & Kids, 1s Accurate Result (Black)

I bought this mainly so I could prove to my girlfriend that sometimes I’m actually sick and not just suffering from what she tells me is the man flu This thermometer is quick and easy to use. Turn it on, check your temperature, and it gives you a reading in just a few seconds. The screen is clear and easy to read and the results have been consistent every time I’ve used it. Also nice to be able to get a radiant or tympanic temp. It’s also small enough to keep in a drawer or medicine cabinet so it’s there when you need it. Honestly it’s just nice having something simple that works without messing around with it. Best part is now when I say I’m sick I can show actual proof instead of getting the usual eye roll. Overall it’s quick, accurate, and very useful if you need scientific evidence that you’re actually sick.

Easy to use, so far so good, although we've only had it a few days. I was confused at first as to the use in the ear then figured out the tip just pulls off. It's very easy though not terribly clear in the instructions.

The device is good but I’m used to using Centigrade. It was stated in the manual that I just have to use the toggle switch to change, but after so many times of switching, on the 5th try it’s only then it changed. But overall, it is easy to use.

I love the different options to use this 2 ways-- keep in mind, it's not always easy to get an accurate temptation with a toddler though. Especially when they fear the thermometer. That said, I do find it harder to use making temperature accuracy difficult. It works well on me (that is because I can sit still LOL). It's pretty easy to use and self explanatory otherwise

Did not include a soft case as described in the included literature. The accuracy is VERY dependent on the distance from the forehead. Ear measurements more consistently accurate.

Easy to use and decent price, I bought two.

Stopped working after two months when I really needed it. Was a pain having to swipe the forehead or use in ear, especially when part of the reason I bought it was to be able to measure surface temps. I check my temp every mornign before going to the office and had developed a bad case of strep throat and was staying home and really need it then. Gave me a temp of 104 which I knew wasn't right and checked with my other thermometer and was 99.3 and tried checking again and all three ways it was reading lo and still continue to do so. Glad I had a back up plan even though that one takes a while to get a reading and isn't instant. Go to Costco and buy the one they have. It's a little more but works great and if it were to break like this piece of junk you can get a refund with no problem. Like a couple other posters stated when I use it contactless it either says LO or reads at least a degree too high. Compared it with my regular oral thermometers when doing a forehead swipe or ear reading and the readings are within 0.2 of a degree so it's acurate that way. It would be ok for family use or good for checking a small child's temp while sleeping since you can mute the beep. I wouldn't recomend it for temp checks for an office since the contactless feature is inaccurate. I was really disappointed in the object measurement being so far off. I've been doing a lot of cooking and thought this would be great for measuring water temps but it reads a good five degrees higher than it should when measuring air temp so I sure don't trust it for cooking. Like how fast it reads a temp. Also like the small storage bag it came with. I have seen a lot of thermometers have complaints that they read in celius only and this came set to F and there is a switch under the battery cover to switch it to Celius. A lot of thermometers also had bad reviews because they had no instructions or were in chinese. The instruction manual is printed in english and easilly folds up to fit in the storage bag.
