FiLIP 2 Smart Locator with Voice for Kids, Watermelon Red (AT&T)

I have to amend my previous post as more and more problems have cropped up with continued use. I am now ready to toss this thing in the garbage. It kept telling me randomly that my child was miles away from where she ACTUALLY was. And now the watch will no longer charge. I can't seem to find a way to purchase a replacement charger (assuming that's the problem). And get this, THE FILIP CUSTOMER SERVICE NUMBER "CANNOT BE REACHED"!! What a waste of money :( Earlier review: The phone function works fine, but that's about the only thing that does. The clasp won't stay locked shut. And the "location" function is inconsistent. Plus, it will not work in areas of low AT&T signal (of which there are many). So it's really no good at locating your child in case of emergency. Plus at times it seems to locate itself very inaccurately and has sent me into a panick by alerting me that my child is miles away from where she actually is. But, it's the watch that works with AT&T, so it's what I use for now. Even so, it was difficult to set up because no one asked AT&T seemed to know anything about it.

This has been PERFECT for our needs!!! At 8 years old my daughter has a little more space to walk to friend's house, or play in the neighborhood, and I can check on her or tell her to come home. If there were some sort of emergency, she can call the set numbers. Or I could track her with the GPS. AND grandma and grandpa can call her when they like (they bought it haha). **BEST ADVICE I READ ABOUT THIS** Do NOT keep the GPS on all the time! That is like keeping the GPS, or Location on your phone ON at all times. Which a lot of you know, drains you cell battery. So of course it would drain this battery. You can turn the GPS on/off through the app at ANY time if you are the main user. So when I want to know if she made it somewhere, I can turn GPS on, see her, then turn the GPS back off. Our battery lasts DAYS AT A TIME. The battery life reviews are what made us hesitate getting it. But another review gave this tip-thank goodness! Cuz it's worked perfect for us. I can call or leave her a message, she can not text me back. She would have to call back. There is no way to be sneaky with this because all calls are on speaker. Only numbers I add are available to call her, and visa versa. So they also need the app to call her. Secure, useful, kid friendly and keeps them kids not needing a phone :)

The device works if receiving calls or making emergency calls but GPS location was a big reason for the purchase and this feature did not work at all

I absolutely love what this watch can do and it worked perfectly for two months and then the face broke on it, water got in and that was it. We can't get a new one so basically we paid a couple of hundred dollars for two months of use. If this product was durable it would be a 5 star product. Not worth buying-

This watch sucks. If I could give it a half star or less, I absolutely would. I ordered this in October of 2017 for my grandson. He loved it felt very grown up and independent riding his bike to friends houses on his own for the first few months. Then... the goofy thing started showing him 3 towns away when he was sitting on the swing set in his own back yard. It was straight down hill from there. No customer service to call, no recourse, no returns, no exchanges and no refunds. Save your money and invest in a REAL IPhone watch for your precious little ones.

Didn't work well when I first received it. Stopped working all together after 6 months of having it. The portion where you charge it started burning my daughters skin one day and kept turning on and off and would not take a charge.

Adorable concept. Seems to work great. My granddaughter loves it, she is 8 years old and not really ready for a cell phone yet. When we are in a store and get separated, she calls me! People look at her funny because she is talking to her wrist.
