Are they using a new decaffeination technique?** A: The blend has been reformulated (I contacted PG Tips because I thought there must have been a manufacturing malfunction due to such a different taste). It has a weird taste of bergamot in my opinion. That may be ok for folks who drink their tea black but it doesn't pair well with milk. It's not at all like the previous version when there were 80 tea bags in a box. It's not as strong, not like a proper British cuppa. I have to use 4 teabags in my teapot where I used to put 3 teabags in the teapot with the original version, and let it steep for a lot longer. Suggest you buy one or two boxes to see if you like it before you land yourself with 4 or more boxes of the stuff. **Q: How much does the new 70 count box weigh? I'm currious to know if it's over or under 210g.** A: The new box 70 count weighs 203 grams. **Q: what is the "best by" date on this product?** A: I don't pay much attention to expiration dates on tea. It is my opinion that as long as it is stored in a cool dry place or in a container with a good seal it can be kept indefinitely.
