Very tasty
I recently ordered this Bellam Pootharekulu and I was truly impressed with the quality and taste. The jaggery filling was rich and flavorful, with just the right amount of sweetness—not too overpowering. The rice paper was thin and perfectly crispy, just how it should be.What really stood out was the freshness—each piece felt like it was made just a day ago. No stickiness or breakage, which is rare for such a delicate sweet. It brought back memories of the ones my grandmother used to make during festivals in Andhra. If you're looking for an authentic and well-packed pootharekulu experience, this is definitely worth trying. Great for gifting or just treating yourself!

Horrible packaging.
The product is good . I liked its taste. The manufacturer has also indicated very clearly that the product should be consumed within 15 days of packing date. However , the packing was horrible. The product was like rolled Jaggery _ sticky powder. It was packed in five portions indicating the quantity for each serving. But each portion was packed in very thin paper. So , while removing the Premium Putharekulu from the wrapping , the paper did not separate completely and I had to throw out some eatable material because of this problem. My guess is it would be better to pack this item in plastic because plastic film will not break.

A tast of tradition
Tasting the Bellam Poothrekulu from Almond House was like reconnecting with my roots. The delicate rice starch layers were thin and expertly made — just like how our elders used to prepare them in the villages. The jaggery filling was rich, pure, and full of that deep, earthy sweetness only real bellam can give. What stood out the most was the authenticity. This isn’t just a sweet — it’s a piece of Andhra’s culinary heritage, made with care and respect for tradition. It reminded me of festive mornings, family gatherings, and the joy of unwrapping those fragile, flavorful layers.Thank you, Almond House, for keeping our timeless sweets alive — not just in taste, but in spirit. Truly a gem for anyone who values real, traditional flavors.

Authentic taste and melt in mouth
I recently tried the Bellam Poothrekulu from Almond House, and they completely exceeded my expectations! The jaggery filling was rich, perfectly balanced, and not overly sweet. The paper-thin rice layers were so delicate and well-made — it truly melted in my mouth. You can really tell these are made with care and traditional expertise. It's rare to find poothrekulu that maintain this level of freshness and authenticity. Beautifully packed too — ideal for gifting during festivals or special occasions.
