Dairy Digest Complete 90 Vegi Caps (Pack of 2)

8/18/18 While taking one of these bad boys, I thought I should update my review for this product because surely it’s been 2-3 YEARS since I first reviewed it. I’ll let you do the math on how close that estimate was! Apparently, I’m so content using these and they go SO far that it makes you feel like old buddies. Every once in a while, as I take ONE pill, I laugh thinking of all the lactaid and money wasted all of those years. I would give this ten stars if I could :-) I had heard there were more effective and less costly methods of Lactaid but it worked for me so there was really no need to look elsewhere. Not to mention, I never looked on Amazon-only in drug stores and they really don’t have many options. Lactaid started giving me cramps? I’ve been taking it for maybe 20 years or less? It took me a while to figure out what was going on. It came out of nowhere. I FINALLY came to Amazon and luckily, this was the first brand I’ve tried. Not only do you get more for your money, they don’t come in stupid pouches and you don’t have to take anywhere NEAR as many. I had 3 slices of a medium pizza tonight. If I was using Lactaid I would need at least 6 (dosage is 2, and I need a dose for every item). I took ONE. ONE of these and I was good to go. I’m a little bit of a tough case because I LOVE cheese and refuse to accept I’m lactose intolerant. I only limit my intake when I’m low on pills. So, I eat as much dairy as a cheese lover would. Cheese on EVERYTHING. Extra cheese, often! So I need something that truly works because there’s no downtime. So happy and I feel like a bit of a fool for not stumbling here earlier. But again, feel soooooo thankful I found it on my first try. A great deal and a lifesaver!!

Tried to help gf's lactose intolerance with this product because I have a theory that if you breakdown both the casein and lactose with these enzymes there should be no intolerance. It's definitely helped and works better than lactase pills but still not quite there as the intolerance still flares up for the gf.

A better option than lactaid.. breaks down the dairy enzymes and allows us who can't tolerate the lactose to enjoy dairy again

I am allergic to most cow's milk unless I drink A2 milk; with these pills, I can eat and drink anything with cow's milk in it now! Something about the specific proteins in the milk cause me horrible pains, but with these I can eat normally; I'm back to enjoying cereal, ice cream, yogurt, soups, cakes, and more!! Literally am living better thanks to these, and though I've done my best to cut down on how much dairy I consume, I'm so glad I can just pop one of these when I go out with friends for ice cream or coffees. One pill per cup of milk works just about perfectly, and I pray these will never be discontinued. I still can't find another comparable pill/capsule that contains enough of the protease protein-dissolving thing it these have, and I got through a whole bottle about every two months. Cheesecake, grilled cheese, and shrimp Alfredo never tasted so good.
