Thoughtfully Designed
As an architect, I care about how things are designed. I have been dealing with Dupuytren's for more than a decade in both of my hands. I have had five non-surgical procedures, three surgical procedures and soon to have another. I have tried many devices to help get range of motion post-surgery. Even after surgery my fingers are sometimes so bent I have been unable to get into a device that helps to straighten the PIP joint. This device completely solves that problem. I can put the device on easily. The other important thing for me is the minute adjustments you can make on the device to increase stretching of the joint. I have included a photo showing the hairline ratchet adjustments. If you suffer from Dupuytren's, I can't recommend this device more.

Very helpful for recovery of fingers.
I broke my wrist and all the fingers were curled up. This device helped straightened two of my 4 fingers.

It works!
I underwent surgery on my little finger which is bent due to Dupuytren’s Contracture. Less than a year after surgery it started to bend again. I’ve been using the device for about 9 months now and have experienced a very noticeable improvement on my ability to straighten my finger. I couldn’t be any happier with this ingenious little device.

Nope
Did not work for me. Maybe my finger was too bent but I couldn’t get the ratchet part to hold the position.

Good basic concept but needs design improvement
The general design concept is good but requires improvement. Overall the unit works well however, it disengages very easily with very light impact making it useless to use at night or even during the day with general movement which is annoying. This design weakness could be corrected easily by implementing a locking feature such as a metal dowel pin once it’s set in place when in use. Additionally it’s made of cheap plastic which appears to injected molded so it’s relatively weak from an overall durability perspective.
