Per photo, came horribly packaged in shredded styrofoam, which is the equivalent of being glitter bombed and required extensive vacuuming to fix. I wouldn’t do that to my worst enemy. Like a child through all the parts in shredded styrofoam and dropped the pile in a box. Support beams came visibly scuffed out of the box. We came to find that the products packaging was indicative of its quality control. Garbage. One support beam was visibly mid-threaded, making it impossible to build the stand to its complete height because it couldn’t physically screw in. The piece had ONE JOB. Clearly no quality control. Avoid this product for your own sanity.

However, it didn't work out for me because the post that was welded onto its base was damaged while in transit for delivery...Having been a few weeks past my order's refund window, HYHTMER's Support Team was supportive to provide me with a replacement part. I was looking for a dupe for the DWR variety of this shelf. This could have worked out so well, but clearly they used spray paint, which did not cost the metal consistently. There were dark spots, light spots where the metal shows through. And the color isn't as bold or vibrant as what the picture shows. It's lighter and too pastel looking. This is NOT a good dupe. Buy the original and spare your time and money.

I placed it by the window, with the sunset and room lighting — the effect is amazing! It looks just like an Instagram-style home setup, very stylish and tasteful. It's perfect for holding small decorations, storage boxes, or photography accessories.

Several pieces didn’t quite fit, and it’s really easy based on the design of the product for the metal part to get stripped

Calouses were formed trying to assemble this bookshelf. My hands are red and raw. I’ve spent 4 hours trying to assemble this. It’s impossible from my personal to have this bookshelf both straight and all shelves aligned. It’s either straight with spiraling shelves, or tilted with straight shelves. At some point the screws are just stripping and rubbing the white paint off so you give up. Half the price as Design within reach so I guess I’ll just deal, but uoset I paid $150 for a bookshelf that will forever be tilted.

I bought this instead of a $400 similar version on a different website. The bookcase is easy to assemble, sturdy, and looks as expected. There are some paint imperfections and chips, but they’re all pretty easily covered up if you put anything on the shelves. A little advice would be to unwrap all the pieces before assembling so you can hide the worst pieces towards the bottom

Upon assembly the spine of the shelf is not straight. It tilts so far extremely forward that I have had to offset the bottom of the shelf to ensure the books do not slide forward.Poor build quality, poor stability. By offsetting the base upwards it does improve the stability though (as seen in the photo).Giving 1 star because the design should consider ensuring the spine is straight up on assembly and books will not slide off.
