Excellent quality and value compared with others on sale
I wanted these for a new 4-drawer filing cabinet I had ordered to replace a clunky old 2-drawer one in my spare room/office. By the time the cabinet arrived some time had passed and unfortunately I found all my filing wouldn't fit in the drawers "face on" and had to be stored sideways, thus rendering the suspended filing unusable, which is a great pity as it is very good quality and was excellent value. It was too late to request if I could send them back for a refund; I'll hang on to them in case anyone I know can make use of them in the future. There was a large range on sale and an equally large price range but these represent good VFM.

OK to use, cheap really, and awkward to label
First of all, for the past 20 years I've used a lockable plastic box with hanging folders in, it is sturdy, had nice large plastic tabs to put labels in, metal supports and a plastic film-like folder that has never, ever failed me. But, in the end it became too small to store the accumulated bumpf that comes with living in the same house for nearly 40 years. So I bought a nice second-hand cabinet, not realising that the drawer runner width is not a standard size. These were the only suspended folders I could find to fit the new runner width, so I had no choice other that no buy them. They work. I mean the folder material is card, reasonably thick card I suppose but as for how durable it is going the be is anyone's guess. The runner supports are inevitably, for this day and age - plastic, so the same there, how long before they break? for the time being they are holding up my stuff, but one day they might not be...labelling them though is a pain. If you are anything like me and like to make printed labels you can use a graphics programme or Powerpoint, either way the rectangle needs to be 5 x 3 cm, and whether you are printing them, or writing them, you will only be able to see the writing on the top third of that paper when they are closed, so bear that in mind if designing them on a PC.To get at the paper label in the first place, you first have to pull out the flimsy but thick cellophane type holder from the folder, pull out one side and then the other, open it like a clamshell and the paper will fall out. Write on it, or use one you've printed and then put it back in the opposite way you took it out. If you like, though I never bothered you could place these tabs from one side of the first folder to the other side in increments as you add more folders, I didn't.You also have a choice of putting the labels in facing either way, depending how you want to hang the folder. You can have the tabbed edge at the back, leaving the folder opening towards you, or if you put the label in backwards you can hang the folders so the tab pulls towards you leaving the storage of documents behind it. These tabs are not that sturdy so you cannot pull on them to open the folder this way. So I had the tabs in the back. They do the job, as long as they keep doing the job I will be sort of happy. But in truth I am looking for better folders with metal runners and proper plastic tabs and a synthetic folder material. One more thing. I had three tabs missing on mine. They weren't in the packaging.

Check the size.
A good product but were too small for standard filing cabinet drawer. Check size carefully for suitability for purpose.
