Review: Best Relief for Neuropathic Itch - Finally!! Relief from my neuropathic itch! Using this product is safer than having unwanted medication coursing through my body. No "Ben Gay smell", which is wonderful! One thing I have noticed is that some Capsaicin products will leave an immediate, long-lasting burning sensation when applied. For the most part, this product does not. I can feel it if I place it on areas where my skin is thinner (feet, ankles, etc ...) and then cover those areas with shoes or put them under a blanket. But it's not too uncomfortable. So, there is the heat factor, but it's definitely not as severe as the Capzasin brand. I also appreciate the roll-on applicator option, which ensures my hands won't be unnecessarily covered. This might prove difficult if a person needs to get between toes or fingers, but that isn't an issue for me. TAKE NOTE: The product stays on the body for at least two days. I know this because I can still feel the heat at times, especially in the shower. Also, two days after application, my dog licked my leg and let me know that he could taste it. So, just be aware of that. Neuropathic itch is maddening, and this product is effective in providing immediate, long-lasting relief at a price that is more affordable than a prescription.

I was trying to find a similar product to another that I was using that helped my pain, but this one is terrible and causes other issues. It is non refundable so I would advise not to buy this product. Also, if you have pets they will cough and sneeze when they come close to you if at all.
