DEFECTIVE PRODUCT
This seemed like a good deal initially, as you received 4-bottles instead of 3 with the other major brand, and it was $20 cheaper, but as the old adage goes, "you get what you pay for." This product was suppose to be a foam application, but after the 2nd time using it (foam didn't come out right), the foam stopped working and only liquid came out. Then it stopped working, period. Very defective merchandise. I don't recommend it!

Greasy mess.
Over the years I’ve used several brands of 5% minoxidil foam and they have all been effective and imperceptible in my hair. This is the only product that left my hair and scalp looking and feeling like a greasy mess. This product has biotin, which I thought would be a benefit. And at first the foam seemed just like other brands I’ve used and my hair/scalp felt perfectly clean with no residue. However, in spite of always shaking before use, the consistency changed as I got towards the middle-end of the can. The product gradually became more difficult to get out of the can, and my hair didn’t feel as clean. This morning was the final straw: it left my hair so greasy that I had to re-wash. I just bought one of the other brands I’ve used successfully. Good price, but ultimately very dissatisfied.

inferior product
Very inferior product! Only foams the first few times you use the canister, then sprays a sticky liquid that you have to wash your hands to remove. Would not recommend this product. Quality control must be lacking.

First Time Using Foam, not a Fan
I use minoxidil most nights before bed, but have never used a foam until now. While I don’t doubt the strength of the 5% minoxidil, my review touches mainly on my dissatisfaction with it being a foam as opposed to a liquid. I’ve been using it for a week now and tried the various recommended ways to apply it. First, I tried putting a blob in my hand, then rubbing it in my hair, but by the time it got to my scalp, I felt it kind of disappeared into thin air before getting to the place it needed to be. Then I tried pumping it out directly to the crown of my head and the front hairline (two places I always use the liquid), but I had no idea how much was needed for it to be effective. I felt I was wasting way too much product, and since foam is way more expensive than liquid, I feel I’m just getting ripped off. While this product’s pricing is better than other more recognized brands, consider you pay $40 for four cans. If you use exactly 30g per application twice a day as recommended, theoretically you’d get a full month’s supply. But there is absolutely no way to know how much you’re dispensing per application. I felt I was using half a can on one application. Compared with liquids that are measured precisely with a dropper, this lack of control is a deal-breaker for me. That said, I do feel that the foam is less greasy than the liquid. I only use minoxidil at night, so the liquid is not a problem for me, but if you’re using it also during the day, the foam might actually be better. However, even if you do use it twice a day, I’d recommend using the foam for daytime and getting the liquid for nights to get more bang for the buck. Overall, after trying the foam for a while, it’s not for me. Think I’ll stick with the liquid.

Approximately a 4 month supply depending on how much you use.
I'm female and have been using minoxidil foam 5% for a few weeks so far and I've learned a few tips by watching videos. The most important thing to know about this product is that it is TOXIC/deadly to pets! Make sure to wash your hands after applying and avoid exposing your pets to it. Don't let them near your head after applying it. As far as application goes, using a dermaroller will help make minoxidil work better. Use the roller before applying the foam. Roll it across the areas you will apply the product. Just a quick roll over the area, dispense the foam and massage in for a minute. I also saw a video where a dermatologist put dots of foam on the part of her hair and used a make-up brush, the end of the bristles to lightly disperse the product and pat it in. She didn't use a dermaroller which would make it work better. I also apply it to my eyebrows - carefully - because hair may grow anywhere this product touches. I use face astringent pad to wipe across my forehead in areas I don't want to grow hair after I'm finished applying minoxidil. I apply the foam once/daily and it is so much easier and less messy than liquid minoxidil.

Good quality and each bottle is travel size
As someone exploring options for hair growth, this 5% Topical Minoxidil Foam, infused with Biotin, seemed like a convenient and potentially effective solution. The fact that it's designed for both men and women is a definite plus. The 4 bottles of 60g size, claiming a 4-month supply, offers good value. The foam application is easy and less messy than liquid minoxidil. It absorbs quickly into the scalp without leaving a greasy residue, which is important for daily use. The addition of Biotin is a nice touch, as it's a known ingredient for hair health. While I haven't seen dramatic results overnight (hair growth treatments take time), I've noticed a slight improvement in the thickness of my hair after consistent use for a couple of months. It's important to be patient and follow the instructions carefully for optimal results. It's also worth noting that minoxidil can cause initial shedding, which is a normal part of the process. If you're looking for a topical minoxidil foam with added Biotin to support hair growth and are willing to be patient with the process, this Minoxidil product is a good option to consider. Remember to consult with a dermatologist before starting any new hair growth treatment to ensure it's right for you.
