its a poor 4mmi have felt 550 cord that feels better

i would not recomend it this is not a good choice for a hammock it is not a good quality cord it has about a 30 percent strech being a nylon parachute cord so the longer you have a load on it it will need to be reajusted to raise it back up it is a small dia. hammoks sway as your on them so it will rub agenst anything its tyed to being the poor quality and small dia i would not trust it and as for it beeing 1000 pound its not i have some 550 cord thats been better and custormer service is poor i would not recamend it
