This works extremely fast to relieve discomfort. I did not know how uncomfortable these were until about 2 days ago when I had my first one…..oh the pain, the itchiness, the irritation…..like fire ants running around in my pants. Ants in my pants kind of uncomfortable. I tried several home remedies and nothing was soothing this or helping. I bought this as an over night shipping option along with some white hazel wipes. Within seconds of application it began to feel better and less swollen. This has a topical vasoconstrictor in it. It constricts blood vessels similar to the way epinephrine or adrenaline constricts blood vessels. Within a few minutes of application the hemorrhoids were about half the size they were before application. The relief was immediate and I am simply happy I found something that helps. This works and it is inexpensive. It includes a weird top that dispenses the product out of all sides of the tip. I do not really understand this but perhaps it is for pushing into the bottom and then dispensing it all around the rim of the rectum. I feel like that’s not sanitary so I threw that away and used the regular top. It is easy to apply with a cotton pad and there is instant relief. It contains pretty much every ingredient available over the counter to treat hemorrhoids. It could contain lidocaine but instead uses Pramoxine HCL instead of lidocaine. I was a bit worried this would not be enough but I was previously using a lidocaine ointment and it was not giving me relief like this. This is my first time encountering a hemorrhoid and finding relief so quickly makes me feel a lot better about having it. I felt a little embarrassed going to the store even though I am not one to get embarrassed easily it’s just my first time encountering this problem so I liked that this was shipped discreetly and no need to announce to the store clerk near my house, and everyone in line behind me that I am experiencing this problem. I would go buy it there if I had to but I much prefer the option to ship discreetly. It works fast and it works well. I recommend it if you’re looking for something that shrinks them nearly on contact. That vasoconstrictor works amazingly fast. Good product.

Normally I would be embarrassed to write a review about something like this… but this product works!!! I had been suffering for months, ended up in the hospital previously and seriously thought I was headed back there again! And then I found this cream. And I’ve been using it for two days, just two days and when I tell you they are nearly gone, the hemorrhoids are seriously almost gone. I am not a medical professional so this isn’t medical advice, but this may help someone. And I was told to do this by the pharmacist when the proctofoam was not covered by my insurance and it was over $100 out of pocket. How I used it: I ordered come of the Amazon brand hydrocortisone cream and mixed it together with this cream, since it didn’t have it in it, but proctofoam has hydrocortisone 1% and pramoxine 1%, I got a spray bottle the sprays upside down and filled it with alcohol free witch hazel. Every time I went to the bathroom I’d wipe (I have a bidet, so I didn’t have to wipe much) and then I’d spray with witch hazel, pat dry. Mix the cream together either on the back of my hand and then put it on a cotton round or mix on a cotton round and stick it on my tush. Make sure to keep yourself as clean as possible, even if it is uncomfortable to do so, a bidet helps a lot for both sitz and for reducing the amount of wiping you’re doing. Be consistent and clean all your supplies especially if you’re using the little tip. Good luck!

My doctor instructed me to use this mixed with water as a gargle to loosen throat mucus. It helps a little bit.

I just received the Tucks cream yesterday,I was in so much pain which was a first for me concerning my hemorrhoid issues. I found relief as soon as I applied it! The only recommendation I would suggest is to buy extra insertable applicators for sanitary reasons, it only comes with one. I personally don't use applicators, I apply externally. I couldn't be more please with how fast the pain and discomfort subsided. I was laying on my side due to the pain initially but after using this cream I can lay on my back and sit down with no issues.

Works as intended, it's a good amount of product. I bought this for postpartum care, and it was easy to use, nothing too crazy, it has extra tops to it in case you need to use it internally. I only used it externally, so I don't know how it works internally. This was amazing directly post-birth. I recommend to any mom as it made healing so much quicker.
