This was bought as a christmas present for a little girl who always wanted to see her name in lights! It comes with a load of emojis and emoticons, lots of spare letters and numbers, so you can make up longer sentences!Getting the letters in and out is pretty easy, and they stay in okay so long as you don't tip the light to the side as they are free to slide out the side.The colours are bright, but some of the flashing settings are psychadelic. It could do with a setting which cycles the colours muuuuuch more slowly. If you put it on the fastest setting you start to feel a bit queasy after a while! The LEDs are bright and very colourful,. and the remote control works quite well up to a few metres away.The power supply is a little basic... If I had one criticism it'd be that I'd prefer something that was a little more kid-friendly, but since it's adults who'll be plugging it in, it's not a major issue. I was surprised how light the box is, actually. Putting the letters in can easily push it over, and even turning it on and off can push it along the floor. A switch in the top, so you had to press down would have been a better option, but so long as you're prepared to use your free hand to hold the unit when you're doing anything with it, it's all fine!Lovely present, happy girl!

I bought this brand by accident and when I realised I was concerned. I was looking at a well known brand and intending on buying that one, this came up on a flash deal with only a few minutes left. Thinking it was the brand I was viewing I bought it quickly whilst waiting for it to be delivered I noticed it was not the one I wanted .... PANICK! I didn't need to be worried, great item, different functions and colours, remote works well and has a power lead so have the option of batteries or plug-in. I cannot wait to get more use out of it.

Spell out your words, spread over three lines, switch on light - that's all there is to it. This version of the box has the added bonus of the remote control which I specifically wanted: use it to choose the colours, the effect or just on and off. Good range of colour choice too. A tiny suggestion would be a simple box to put the separated letters in when they're not in use but that would be icing on the cake.

Bought this item, left it in it original packaging never removed it from its packaging, only to find 2 months later when I need it, IT DONT WORK!!!😤😡The item has two on switches one for battery operated and the other by USB cable both did not work.I had planned to use it to night for my social media live recording..... only to discover it didn't work🥺the light don't turn on even with batteries. So disappointed I also needed it for my birthday.

Have used this all the time during Lockdown - thanking the NHS/Key Workers/Wishing friends a Happy Birthday/Letting my Grandchildren know they're loved. .... Might just keep it at the window all the time now!! 😄

I am really impressed with this lightbox. It is very bright and you can lower the brightness which is a nice touch.The remote works perfectly with a variety of modes- however I like just the plain colour best. Also it can be powered off the mains which is handy for parties. The kids love it as well. great gift idea

Bought as a Christmas present for Daughter. She loves the remote control and different colours.

It's hard work keep messing with the alphabets just to make a word and it's very unstable.
