Bosmarlin Ceramic Cappuccino Cup and Saucer Set of 2, 9 Oz, Coffee Cups for Latte, Espresso, Tea, Dishwasher and Microwave Safe, Reavtive Glaze (Deep Blue)

I bought these cups after a long search for just the right ones. See, a long while ago, I bought a tea cup and saucer on a whim, only to have it become my favorite cup I ever had. It became the only cup I'd drink tea out of. The problem with that being; that I couldn't use it while it was being washed. During my search for a suitable backup, I accidentally chipped my beloved cup. This now left me on a search for a replacement AND a backup.I found this set of cups, and they looked promising. They arrived nicely packed in molded foam inserts. I made sure to put them through the dishwasher to see if they could handle it, and they came out with no problems, cracks, chips, or glaze changes. The blue is perfect, and I love the aesthetics of the drippy look. That raw looking area under the blue glaze is in fact a matte look glaze that mimics the look of raw burnished clay, which I appreciate. The handles feel good in my hand the way I normally hold my cup, as well as feeling substantial and strong. I don't feel worried about them snapping off. The cups sit nicely in their saucers, so manufacturing is correctly done.In comparison to the cup they'll be replacing, they are taller and thinner. I also notice in my hand that they feel lighter than my favorite cup. That could be a pro or con, depending on hand strength and personal preferences. The saucer is also smaller than my favorite one, but I'm okay with that. The handles are a smidgen thinner, and they curve in on the top instead of flattening out. I prefer the handle of my favorite cup, but it's a minor enough difference that I can overlook it.In all, they're great cups. They'd make an amazing gift for someone if that's what you need, but they'd be just as good as a treat for yourself. I hope to come to love them as much as I loved my fave. In the meantime, they're perfectly suitable for my needs and wants.

Beautiful, excellent-quality mugs, very well packaged. I own them in different colors from the same brand and am very satisfied with my purchase.

Only giving it 4 stars since it took a whole lot longer to get them in. However, really nice quality set, and has become my favorite latte art cup.

Beautiful cups.

These are fine mugs, but I returned my specific pair as the quality was lower than expected and the color was inaccurate. There is a small chip on one of the mugs. There is also some weird debris inside than looks like fiberglass threads (most likely, it’s not fiberglass, but just looks very similar). The color is not as expected - the bottom part is actually darker, beige, with horizontal stripes; it’s hard to capture this with a camera, and that’s probably why the seller’s photos are a bit off as well. I really liked the contrast between dark blue and off-white, but with beige, it doesn’t look as nice.
