Make your own decals - and it's easy.
This decal film is a film that you can print on with your ink jet printer. If you can print it you can make it into a decal. To get started buy the Testor Decal kit. The kit comes with a few sheets of clear and white film. It also has directions and a small CD with images. I get many useful logos using Google and searching in the images section. You print on this film then spray it with the special Testor clear lacquer to protect and seal the image. (Spray several thin coats and let dry between coats so the lacquer does not blur the printing.) After the lacquer dries you trim around the image with scissors.Dip your decal in warm water (follow the directions in the kit), slide the decal onto the object you want to decorate, then spray it with another clear lacquer after it dries.Decals have been getting hard to find so this kit helps fill that gap. I use the drawing tools and fonts in PowerPoint plus you can print out photo's. It's amazing what you can do with an ink jet printer and this decal film.

PRICEY, but fast and easy to use.
You get three (5.5" x 8.5") pages of clear backing and three more of white background. Rather expensive to me. However, the decals printed out on my inkjet printer without any running. I let it air dry for a half hour and then took a hairdryer to the paper for a minute. I then sprayed the clear back sheet with Krylon Gloss Clear spray varnish (you know, the cheap stuff). I hit it with two coats being careful to seal the entire page, but not over do it. After ten minutes of air drying, I hit it with the hairdryer until it was completely dry.Application was very easy. Trim closely all the way around the decal image with a hobby razor knife (not a utility knife). Touch the paper backing to the water for 5 seconds (as directed). Within 15 seconds, the decal will be able to be slid across the paper. I found using tweezers worked fantastically.I'll probably try another brand that offers more paper for the dollar next time.

Great Product
These decal sheets are fantastic. Using a 10 year old Cannon inkjet printer and following the directions for standard, plain paper printing, the decals came out great. I used the Testors "decal fixative" as recommended (just a quick light coat) and the decals came off the sheet fine and allowed a lot of moving about on the model before letting them dry. Sure, the pages are smaller than others but this system works.

Description Not Specific
The product description doesn't clearly describe the type of "decal paper" this is as there are various types from stick on decals where you peel the back and apply decal and then there is also waterslide decals using water and the decals slide off the back paper....I thought this was the sticker type decal. The package doesn't even specify what type of decals is inside until you open it up, read the instructions as well as look at the back of the paper where it says Water Slide Decal. For the cost of only 6 small sheets that aren't even legal document size, you could get a pack of 20 larger sheets for a few more dollars and be able to place more images on the "waterslide decal paper"

Decals work. What more can you want?
I keep getting into trouble because I don't read the descriptions well enough when I purchase something. These are half size sheets (5.5 X 8.5). Not the full size sheets that I was expecting because I wasn't smart enough to read the description, again. They didn't work for the project I had in mind, because they were too small. But I've used them elsewhere, and they work fine.

or you'll end up with a big mess and wasted time/materials. Saved ~$50 by printing a custom decal ...
Did the job for me. Don't forget to spray clearcoat or a similar cover coat over your printing, or you'll end up with a big mess and wasted time/materials. Saved ~$50 by printing a custom decal myself! Just as easy/difficult to work with as any other wet-slide decal material.

Yu don't get white and clear, only one of those 2
They say white and clear, but I got only one of those two clear OR white, anyway they were all the same. I did not get what I paid for!
