I can't believe how much more juice I can extract with this little gadget rather than hand squeezing with all my might. Good solid construction and looks super cute with my cocktail kit. One thing that mystifies me is the number of bad reviews some people are leaving for the food storage products, especially the avocado saver. Nothing keeps half a cut avocado from going brown except perhaps vacuum packing but that is doubtful also. You need to squeeze a few drops of something acidic such as vinegar or lemon juice on the exposed surface to prevent it from oxidising. The avocado saver is to protect it from dust, bacteria and fungal spores in the air, and other food related odours and flotsam from permeating/soiling it while stored in the fridge. It's extremely unfair of people to leave negative reviews for such good quality, affordable, effective and fun products because your expectations are grossly unreasonable and unrealistic.

**Q: Can you use just the top part on top of a mason style glass jar or does it have to be used with the container provided ?**
A: No only on the container, which is also quite small so you can’t reuse it for anything bigger than lemon or lime.

**Q: Hi, can this be used for an orange?**
A: Yes  you can but you might find it a bit small.
Try using it over a bowl

**Q: Silly question maybe but can you only use small lemons on this or will quarters work?**
A: I wouldn't recommend a quartered lemon as the juice may go everywhere. However, I have used large lemons and have had no problem!
