Great value and a nice product. The switch mechanism can be a little fussy. You have to be patient on occasion for it to take the temperature you require and also to keep temperature pre use. But. look good and boils very quickly!

Being able to select a temperature to heat water from 40 to 100 C is useful, and it works. It’s a neat, well designed and well made kettle. Only slightly disappointing aspect is that it’s gets rather noisy when boiling water. But it does it fairly quickly and you see the temperature rise as it does so. Overall many more pluses than the 1 minus. Easy to use, not at all heavy and no issues with leaks etc.

This item is amazing. It looks really expensive too. The water can be boiled to a required temperature which is great as I can use it to make up my grandsons bottle to the correct temperature so not waiting for it to cool. Would highly recommend.

Bought as a temporary kettle. It’s one of the cheaper variable temperature Kettles, and it shows. it feels light and plastic, and the design of it is too. The lid needs to be completely removed, rather than being a flip-top, but that’s just down to your preference. But it does what you expect. The dial, that sets the temperature, is easy to use. Fill the kettle with water, rotate the dial and press the same dial to heat. The is an display on the side that shows the temperature. I’m not sure I’d like this an everyday kettle, but it’s good enough for my purpose. It seems smaller, the thermostats is dubious (but good enough) but it doesn’t hold the heat as my old kettle did. ….only time will say if it lasts long enough to be awarded an extra star… A WEEK LATER: it can be a pain to turn on. the switch doesn’t always work. You select the temperature, and press it, but nothing… repeat several times until it starts heating. MONTH LATER: I went away for a few days, and it no longer works. All of the electrics continue to work, but the kettle never heats (at all). Will be returning and looking for another…

Fantastic kettle i think it's my best buy ut really is nice easy to use keeps water warm fix to what heat you want i like it not too noise good quality for the money

Great kettle

I bought this kettle as a coffee lover who often brews at home. It worked well and I appreciated the temperature controls that move up and down in 10 degree intervals from 40-100°C. I've had this for almost 2 years and have come home from work to find it not working. The display still functions and I can adjust the desired temperature but it now isn't boiling/heating the water.

I have been using this product for the past 4 months and I have had No major problems with it. It boils or reaches the temperature which I have set it at quickly and quietly. The 1.7L water level capacity is ample and even though it is made from metal when full it does weigh that much. Due to the metal construction, I reckon that the Kettle will be very durable and last for a long time. I have only 1 major Gripe/Concern about it and it is the lid because once the Kettle has reached temperature and you use it, if you need to refill it for to boil again the lid does not quite fit or go on properly due to the silicone washer around the lid not making a good seal, if the lid had of been hinged like most Kettles nowadays then it would be a fantastic and safer kettle.

Looks fantastic and high quality, but there are two main problems: - quite often it pauses well before boiling for about 3 minutes, after which it will continue to boil the water. - unlike the last kettle (russell hobbs with same wattage) we had there is massive limescale buildup which is about impossible to remove. Seems to be due to how the heating element is build in to the bottom.
