This is great stuff. My dogs seem to like the taste. Easy to use. Make there breath smell much nicer too. Will definitely be buying more. Great value for money too. Seem to be working for my dogs.

I’m surprised at how effective and quick this actually worked !! His breath did smell like a wet kipper but hardly any smell now..I’ve tried other products will no difference made but I would highly recommend this one

I have been using this for a couple of months now, along with a powder and a valiant attempt with brush and toothpaste. Our old girl's teeth seem much better now so I think it is working. I have only dropped a star because I can't really be sure of this. She had very few teeth left when we rescued her, and her teeth, clearly, hadn't ever seen a toothbrush. but we want her to keep the ones that are left. Fingers crossed its plaque clearing effects continue. Our last girl had perfect teeth (the vet's judgement) but they were cleaned from puppyhood every day. Not difficult and saves so much grief for the dog. If only…….. I would recommend this product.

I have an old greyhound who’s teeth aren’t great so I brush his teeth every day and this helps his breath stay fresh . It’s easy to use I don’t know if the calming effects work on him as he’s pretty laid back . His breath smells nice and fresh all day . So I’d say it was effective. It’s also reasonably priced .

Have used for about 2 months on my 4 dogs-no real improvement noticed with their teeth. Also you need to remove food and water for 45 mins after use which is a pain!

Not effective. Does nothing. Smells on bleach. Dog doesn't like it

This is a great spray my 15yr old dog had terrible breath and a real build up of plague on his front teeth as he has an over bite, his breath has improved and the plague has gone, and he doesn’t mind the taste I have tried lots of other dental products and this is by far the most successful

I almost passed on this spray because the overall rating was sitting around four stars, which is right on the edge of where I start paying closer attention before ordering. Like a lot of people, I rely heavily on reviews when I can’t physically inspect a product myself.Then I read the negative reviews, and honestly, some of them made me want to bang my head gently against a wall.Several people complained that this smells “like bleach” and said they would never put some dangerous chemical in or around their pet’s mouth. Let’s clear that up: this is not bleach. Household bleach is sodium hypochlorite. This product is hypochlorous acid. Those are not the same thing.Does it have a faint chlorine-like smell? Yes. It should. Hypochlorous acid contains chlorine, and chlorine-containing compounds can have a similar scent. Bleach also smells like chlorine, but that does not mean everything with a chlorine smell is bleach. That is like saying table salt and chlorine gas are the same thing because both involve chlorine somewhere in the chemistry. They are not.The mild chlorine smell is actually part of why I feel better about the product. If I’m buying a hypochlorous acid spray for cleaning, disinfecting, and pet hygiene, I want it to smell like it contains what it claims to contain. That is the active ingredient doing its job, not some mysterious toxic swamp potion.Used as directed, this is exactly the type of product I wanted. It is convenient, easy to apply, and useful to have around for pet-related cleaning and hygiene situations. I would obviously not replace proper veterinary care with a spray bottle, and I would not use it outside the directions, but as a basic hypochlorous acid spray, it makes sense and works well.So yes, it has a faint chlorine smell. No, that does not mean someone filled the bottle with household bleach and told you to spray it on your dog. Please do not let confused reviews scare you away from understanding basic product chemistry.I’m giving this five stars because the product is exactly what it claims to be, and I appreciate having a simple hypochlorous acid spray available for pet use. Hopefully this review helps at least one person make a more informed decision instead of panicking because “chlorine smell” and “bleach” got tossed into the same mental junk drawer.

Using on my two dogs a mini pom and a basset. Heavy tartar on the back teeth, trying to avoid dental because of anesthesia( last basset has swallowing problems for life after intubation)This REALLY works. Using consistently, through a half bottle can see a definite decrease and teeth are whitening. No bad breath anymore either. Smells like bleach but I sprayed in my own mouth before using it on them. Tastes like water! In fact I bought a human version for myself to put in my water pik.They resisted the first time but since then they just let me do it. No fuss. Worth every dime and I think within a month or so all the tartar will be gone!
