Norelco Multigroom All-in-One Trimmer with 13 Pieces All-in-one Trimmer 9-in-1 MG3740

I give this 5 stars but I must say, it only lasts about a 18 months. While it’s working, it’s great!

I’m extremely happy with the Philips Norelco 3000. It’s refreshing to have a trimmer that doesn't need oil and just works every time. The 60-minute battery life is more than enough for a few weeks of grooming, and the variety of guards makes it easy to get the exact length I want. It feels sturdy in the hand and is incredibly easy to clean. 5 stars for being the best budget-friendly trimmer out there!

So in October 2018 I bought the Philips Norelco Multi Groomer MG3750/50 (13 Pieces) to replace the Remington PG525 Head to Toe Lithium Powered Body Groomer Kit, Trimmer (10 Pieces) I had bought in April 2018. The Remington lasted less than 6 months - the battery just died with no warning, had to throw it away. Had I spend $100 I would have been more upset but for the price I figured I got what I paid for. Anyway, I should have read the reviews more carefully on the Remington because the cheap battery seems to be a common complaint. Oh well, lesson learned. On to the Philips Norelco. I was hesitant since the price was comparative to the Remington. But I wend with my gut and ordered it anyway. I got lucky because this one works as advertised and then some - so far, remember it's only been about two months with the Philips Norelco. What I like about the Philips Norelco is that the attachments seem to work much better than the Remington's attachments. The Philips Norelco has a "1" blade attachment which comes in handy to trim my goatee after a day or two of growth versus using the unprotected trimmer directly - the Remington didn't include a "1" blade attachment for this purpose. Also, the Remington unprotected trimmer nicked me a few times when trimming up facial hair while the Philips Norelco is much smoother since I think it has a stronger output on the blade (faster blades maybe?). I do like the snap on blades of the Philips Norelco, which at first glance might seem like an extra step when compared to the Remington, but you can really clean the Philips Norelco a little better IMO and it just feels like it's built better. One personal issue I do have is I'd like for the heads of these little groomer/trimmers to be a little bigger but it seems the head size is an industry norm from what I'm seeing online. If the battery becomes an issue with this one I'll add a comment to this review for you. Until then, ignore the reviews and don't waste your time with the Remington and buy the Philips Norelco!

I tried a $30 trimmer previously, with all kinds of attachments, and adjustable guards and combs, and I have to say there is something to be said for simplicity! No frills, bells, or whistles - came with exactly what I needed - simple brown cardboard packaging, simple instructions, an assortment of guards, and some extra heads for detail and ear/nose trimming. The guard combs are comfortable, and unlike the more expensive razor I tried before, trims smoothly without pulling hair. The blade cuts well, and quickly trimmed down my beard, which had gotten longer than I realized. It doesn't bog down or jam with thick hair, and trims very well. I also was able to edge, and clean up my neck without any trouble. I like that this unit does not come with a big gaudy holder which only takes up shelf space. I only ever use 1 or 2 accessories anyhow, so the ones I don't use as much I can leave in the included pouch and put them away, dust free (can't say the same for a caddy that just takes valuable shelf space and only collects dust and grime!). Anyway, this trimmer works great for me, and was a good value! I didn't get a chance to use it long enough to rate the battery life, but I expect it will be just fine. Edit: I've been using this a while now and it rarely needs charging. Battery lasts a good long while and I am very happy with it so far!

This is a for ever machine, i have one since the pandemic and still running great like new!

I originally bought this for clients at work. (I worked at a nursing/rehab facility) they would come in, need a shave & not have a razor & the ones we provided were one blade & awful! Once I left, I brought it home & it became the dog's razor. I shave my puggle. (Yes.. my luggage. He loves it!) It only came with a few different extensions, and a little cheap bag. The battery lasted quite a while every time id charge it. My fiancée also uses it to shave his back. (Er, technically, I use it). It doesn't require any oil. You can rinse it with water (just make sure you let it fully dry before using again). Anyways.. I'd say it got used at least twice a month between my fiancée & the dog. The dog used the middle size, and no cover at all for my fiancée. After 4 years, its finally died. I'm not sure whats wrong with it. I charge it, and it will turn on and shave & then die randomly & turn back on randomly. I like the fact that I can take the entire head off, and clean inside. I like that I can clean where the actual blade is. Id recommend this, if you're looking for something that's quick, cheap, and effective. If youre looking to shave your head, back, or dog, its amazing. If you are looking to do your nose, and intricate designs, or a few different sizes, id recommend going with something else. The blade is sharp, and never lost its dullness. But, like I said, it only came with a few different sizes. The little carry case is a cheap, pos. Although, I still have mine, fully intact. Its nothing fancy, but if you're on the go, I'd recommend upgrading to your own travel case. If its going to sit in the bag, on a shelf, in your bathroom, it should be fine. Plugged it in, no charge indicator light came on. That's annoying that I can't charge it, but I'm sure it's just a rare defect. That's what I would say, but apparently I can't exchange it without taking it to a school? What is going on?

Compré esta cortadora Phillips después de olvidar una Braun que tenía (que luego encontré de nuevo). De cualquier manera funciona perfectamente bien. La batería dura y la uso cada 3 días porque al ser calvo me rasuro la cabeza con regularidad y sin cargarla a menudo. Lo único que no destacaría es que los números 3,4,5,6 y 7 vienen en un único cabezal con una palanquita que regula que número vas a usar (no son 5 cabezales independientes sino que todos los números están en el mismo) así que si lo pierdes te quedas sin 5 números de corte. Por lo demás es muy compacta casi cabe en el bolsillo y muy completa. Cumple de sobra.

Acquisto natalizio. A distanza di mesi funziona ancora benissimo. Aspetto economico ma la dotazione di accessori è ampia. Consigliato

Precio muy adecuado y bastante funcional la máquina, dura mucho la batería y las diferentes medidas para recorte son útiles. Lo uso para la barba y me tiene muy conforme. Buen producto.
