He’ll happily sit and build different tracks then spend ages making up stories with the vehicles. It’s lovely seeing how into it he gets. The ‘construction site’ he built the other day was very serious business. It’s become a go-to toy in our house and one I’m glad we picked up.

This Tragik Construction Toy is lots of fun and there are lots of pieces included in the set. The set includes 234 track pieces, this sounds like a lot but its not as much as it sounds as each half a centimetre piece seems to count as one track piece. There is still plenty of track pieces for hours of fun and numerous tracks though. You can even make a raised bit of track to add to the fun. The construction vehicles are all great quality except for the one car that is battery powered. That car feels quite cheap and flimsy plastic. The car drives around the track though if you add 1AA battery. The other vehicles are friction powered but they don't move along the track unless you push them and some seem like a tight squeeze to get around too. There are some construction signs and palm trees to add to the fun. It's not often I see palm trees on a British construction site but they add to the colour and variety of the set! This is a really fun construction toy and you get lots for your money, would make a lovely gift. Whilst most reviewers say it's cheap flimsy plastic I think it is meant to be this way so that the tracks can fit together and for more versatility of tracks during play.

This is a great toy for kids who love playing with cars. My nephew had lots of fun building tracks and gliding the construction cars across them. However, the small track pieces were quite fiddly to clip together, so he needed a lot of help at first. Once the track was built, he was entertained for hours.

You should note that the box says this toy is only suitable from age 3 due to small parts, not age 2 as shown in the description. The track is very flexible so you can twist it around, but with only two connecting pieces a figure 8 design is as complicated as it gets. Annoyingly, the wheel base of the 4 construction vehicles supplied are too wide for the track, so you can only drive the car round. The signs also have little stickers on, some of which were wonky or hanging over the edge. I wasn't overly impressed, and my little one only played for a few minutes before moving on to something else.

The cars run well on the track, though they’re quite lightweight, so they might not hold up to rough play. I thought this was brilliant! Our daddy is into diggers and such so we ordered this. I was pleased to see that the track comes in pre-jointed sections and was easy to put together and put away again. We had no issues with any of the vehicles, in fact I was surprised how good they were for the price of this item. All things considered I think this is a little bit of a bargain and a great time filling toy for the price.

You can see straight from taking this set out of the box how cheaply produced it is. all plastic and pretty thin as well I certainly wouldn't give it to a small child for fear of breakages and bits being misused. Not a set i would recommend and you could certainly get better at the price point being advertised.
