Ailerons, rudder and elevator are fixed and cannot be controlled, right and left turning is only possible via the propellers. Wheels are flimsy, were bent on first landing, and it is almost impossible to take off from a concrete ground. They also get detached easily and went lost already from the first session. There are much better value for money mini rc plane for just a little bit more. I would recommend buying a P51-D or a Spitfire instead, they work well for beginners and have much more features. This purchase was a toal waste of money.

I bought this plane for my seven year old. He absolutely loves it. I was worried at first because I thought it would be too hard for him to learn. To my surprise it was a breeze. There are 2 ways to start flight, first off the ground and the second by throwing which is the method we prefer. Once thrown into the air it stabilizes really quickly. He was able to play with it for around 45min before we had to charge it again. It has realistic lights so you can fly it at night as well without the worry of loosing it. It is light but durable. I would definitely buy again.

Battery compartment very small but was a lovely gift for grandson, very lite advice would be store in box as fragile
