Great receiver and Bluetooth range was MUCH better than expected
I just got this installed this weekend, so i am not sure on all the functions yet, but the first couple of days on the water were great. I replaced an older Kenwood receiver, so there was no cosmetic modification needed, just rewire. Also added a new Kenwood amp, together, they sound better than expected. I do not usually write reviews, but I almost passed on this receiver for a much more expensive one due to some of the reviews I red on the Bluetooth range. Someone said they had to leave their phone in the cabin. My receiver is in the front part of a 37' cruiser. At the marina, i walked out the back of the boat and about 30' down the dock before the signal started to skip. I am not sure how it would work out in the water, but i do not have a waterproof phone, so i don't need that. Also, the Kenwood app is handy for volume, playlist, and sound adjustments. It seems to be based more on Apple music and not as compatible with Pandora, but just have to have Pandora and Kenwood apps open at the same time. Very happy with this combo so far.

So far so good. All the functions are working
So far so good. All the functions are working.I haven't had a chance to install it on the boat yet. I will update when I install and see how it handles the vibrations from the boat being on the water.

Good sound. Good value.
Used this as a direct replacement for an older Kenwood HU that had finally succumbed to years of sun/salt and did not work any more. If fit the old spot nearly perfectly so I was pleased about that. Sound quality is good. As good or better maybe than the old one (as far as I can remember). MUCH better than the little portable/rechargeable bluetooth speaker I was stuck using before I bought this. Android pairing is very easy with my phone. iPhone pairing was real easy for my gf's. FM quality ok, but I mostly use it via Bluetooth. As a marine radio if it lasts as long as my older unit of the same brand (~12 yrs) I'll be pleased.Random note: Like I said above this was a direct replacement for a *much* older Kenwood. Stupidly I assumed they probably changed the harness over the years, so I cut my old one out. Then had to splice the new one in, it turned what should have been a 30 second install, to a 5 minute install. No big deal and its entirely my fault. This is just a helpful note for anyone also replacing a older unit of the same make. Just check the harness before you assume it wont work.

Nice stereo
The stereo is awesome my only problem is there wasn't a remote control in the box for the stereo

Have connected to another amp, works great. Cool you can connect two phones at a time
Solid receiver. Can change the colors and connect two phones at once. Sometimes switching between the phones can be a pain but generally works pretty well. Very happy with it

Junk
It is $80 for a reason. Piece of junk. Bluetooth feature stopped working after 3rd use. Now of course its out of the return window. Great! Cheap trash.
