Kenwood KMR-M322BT Marine Digital Media Receiver with Bluetooth

Functional and powerful. Running two Kenwood 6.5” marine speakers and it sounds incredible ($125 total!). Bluetooth paring is stupid easy. I’m not sure why so many people say the range is unusually low. The manual clearly says “line of sight”. With the unit dashboard mounted, I can walk 20-30 feet away and still control music and volume. Color changing lights are really cool too. Couldn’t be happier with my purchase.

This unit is a POS and nothing but a headache. I bought it for my Miata because the marine display was recommended to reduce glare in convertibles. This aspect of the unit is great - I can actually read the LCD. However the operation of the unit is frustrating and the non-stop read-failures and error messages when trying to use my iPhone are ridiculous. This thing even drops the connection mid-song with the USB connected. I've hear of many inexpensive head-units with Bluetooth connectivity issues, but the USB connection should be idiot-proof. Nonetheless even with my phone hard-wired to the unit via USB this thing will suddenly disconnect and show a "USB Error" message mid-song or podcast. Then nothing I do will reconnect. Sometimes if I switch to Bluetooth I can resume, but the Bluetooth can be temper-mental as well. This is my second unit. I returned the first one for similar reasons. This one lasted until the return period expired so it looks like I'm out $80 - at least it was cheap. If you need a marine unit I would look elsewhere.

This radio has a lot options for you to adjust music the way you like to hear it. KENWOOD has an app for iPhone or Android you can download to control the radio and many of its options. Great value for the price.

Prior reviews said lots of negative things about this. The radio isn't top-of-the-line, but all the advertised features work. Installation was straightforward, like any automotive radio. Buy yourself some crimp splices to make the job a little quicker.Other reviews are accurate that the BT distance isn't amazing, but that's a function of burying the unit in your center console. I simply leave my phone in a cupholder on the console and it works fine.I have used this for nearly a year and if still works. I did install a cover with it though...highly recommend. Great compact unit for the boat.3 RCA out is great with the dedicated sub woofer and amp on wire.Blue tooth range is limited to only a few meters I found... will add the remote so I can leave the phone in the locker. Has added mic for accepting calls of the stereo speakers.

Replaced my older model KW marine stereo because the screen letters were not bright enough to see in the sunlight, but the Bluetooth range was great. I bought this KW product and the screen is awesome in the sunlight, BUT the Bluetooth range is terrible! Same BT device for both units.

This is the perfect replacement for your Harley-Davidson radio if you plan on pushing several aftermarket speakers with a four channel amp. This radio has many functions and features to adjust and fine tune your head unit, to your amp, to match your speakers to give you the best sound.

I bought this for our boat. The whole user interface is clumsy and the wireless connection is weak. The main volume knob stopped working after 6 months, had to send it in for repair.The repair and shipping were covered by warranty. Kudos to United Radio in Syracuse NY. Very fast and courteous service.If you dont have dainty little hands you will find the main control knob very frustrating to use, especially on a boat.

For the price that this head unit retails for, I wasn't expecting much... But I was very pleasantly surprised when I received it and unboxed it. The satin silver finish is beautiful. Wiring is dirt simple (Being marine specific there are no fancy computers to hook up to). Mounting is the difficult part. Setup isn't too difficult, but it's not 'easy' with how many dead-end menus there are, but you can tailor the sound to exactly what you need! The one option this radio seems to be missing is a "Front Speakers Only" option, but that's just me being lame and only running 2 speakers. I would assume that whatever signal is being sent to the non-existent rear speakers is just wasted. But this is made up for by the fader and hundreds of frequency tuning options!
