great little hatchet. i have found i prefer a long knife to split wood in the backcountry but this thing is nice. i usu it mostly for roughing out spoon blanks now, it keeps an edge well and was sharp when i got it, sheath isn't awesome but is still going strong. id say its durable too, don't know how id break it other than dropping a tree on it

I’ve built 3 full sustainable emergency kits. With enough emergency rations for 1 month. This will give me enough time to get out, set up, and prepare my camp for sustainable living. While each pack has a felling or chopping full size axe, hatchet and saw. This is the only item I keep on my haversack. It’s small, light weight (yet still heavy and durable), razor sharp and easily sharpened. It replaces my Bowie, machete, and hatchet all in one. By far the most useful multifunctional blade I own. It’s full tang with a single set screw. Easily repaired with versatility for optional repair or customization.

Awesome compact design that allows for a quick split on some kindling. I've owned and used this for the past year and so far the blade has held strong and sharp. The edge seems to hold, but I am also only chopping small soft wood like pines. The small size allows for a quick swing. For the price and brand name this is hard to beat great value and addition to my camping bag

small, lightweight easy to carry. sheath is a pita, making it difficult to get out or put back. overall good for the money.

Surprised at how well this performed. This was gifted to our son for backpacking trips. It’s a great starter or beater tool.
