### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly recommend, Good quality!

I used to work at several coffee shops that used standard commercial size tampers. The business end of tampers are usually stainless steel or aluminium that material can continue for the handle or transition to materials like rosewood.The good tamper is the extension of your hand when making espresso. The lighter the tamper the more pressure the person needs to apply. Personally I use and prefer a flat base, if you’re newer to espresso or looking for more consistency in your tamping pressure consider a Letilito coffee tamper. A heavy tamper feels better in my hand and my palm applies most of the pressure when tamping, while my fingers apply some and help keep the base parallel to the coffee bed. The curve in the base makes this more efficient and leads to a more centered and even distribution of the grinds.

As a coffee shop owner, for commercial proposes, a good tamper just as important as your coffee machine and grinder, it's one of the essential equipment for Italian style espresso,  nice and even surface, help you to control water flow, as for espresso, 16-24 seconds are standard time, without tamp the coffee, water will simply run too fast through grind coffee and make your espresso taste weak. on the other hand, if you push tight your grind coffee, it will help you to control water flow and deliver a perfect cup espresso every single time. for me, this is a must have product for every coffee lover!

Currently a beginner with my first espresso machine and a beautiful first tamper. It’s fit very well, really tamp all the coffee without leaving any ground at the edge of the basket. Very glad I didn’t skimp.
