Best hair color Iโve ever used
Iโve tried many different hair dyes over the years, but Garnier Olia really stands out. It gave me around 80% gray coverage, which is impressive. Since it has no harsh chemicals, it felt very gentle on my hair and scalp. The application process was super easy and straightforward. I'm definitely staying with this product!6.0, light BrownI recommend this product

Beautiful Light Brown Results with No Red Tones
I switched to Garnier Olia after being a loyal Revlon ColorSilk user for years, and Iโm so glad I did.I had always used Revlonโs Light Brown because it was ammonia-free and gave me reliable results. Recently, however, I started noticing an unwanted reddish tone developing, even though I hadnโt changed anything in my routine. Since I had been coloring my hair the same way for years, I can only assume the formula may have changed.I specifically wanted another ammonia-free option, so after reading the strong reviews for Garnier Olia, I decided to try the Light Brown shade. For reference, my natural hair is dark brown with some gray, and it had been about 3 months since my last color.Because of the regrowth, I chose to follow the touch-up directions instead of applying it to my full head right away. I left the color on my roots for 20 minutes, then pulled it through the ends for about 7 additional minutes. The instructions suggest 10 minutes on the ends, but I shortened it slightly because I was concerned my previously colored ends might absorb too much pigment. The formula itself was excellentโrich, creamy, and very easy to apply without dripping. It starts out white and gradually changes as it processes. The results were exactly what I hoped for: a beautiful soft light-to-medium brown with subtle dimension and highlighted tones, and most importantly, no red cast at all.It covered my grays nicely, blended beautifully with my natural color, and left my hair looking soft and healthy. While it does cost a bit more than Revlon, the improved tone and overall result make it absolutely worth it for me.Iโll definitely continue using Garnier Olia.

Great gray coverage
I have this on subscription since I love it so much. Perfect color for gray coverage and it always makes my hair feel so soft and healthy. I use it about every 6-7 weeks. The smell is also appreciated since it does not smell like cat urine (ammonia).

Too dark
For a "medium" brown, this is really dark. Also, in spite of it being ammonia-free, it does irritate my scalp somewhat. I really wanted to like it, so I will try a lighter version and give it another chance. Additionally, while some reviews say there is no red tone, and for the most part there isn't, it does lean - in my experience - slightly more warm than ash.

Does NOT cover grey!
Olia used to be my #1 hair brand years ago. Then I was introduced to a product that suited me better. Now after years, that product no longer carries my tone. So I returned to Olia. I order 2-3 at a time to have on hand without having to wait. Well, I was very disappointed upon it not covering my grey. I hoped it was just a one-time bad result, but after the 3rd time having it not cover my grey, I give up on this productโฆproblem is I still have 2 more useless applicationsโฆ.waste of money! Apparently, I am one of many who experience the same negative results. What a shame, this product was very good long ago. Sad to see this business integrity losing its claimโฆthey change or cut back on ingredients to save $, but they end up losing customers for goodโฆgo figure๐ค

Not sure about this
I was trying to get some overall color for my hair before the holiday and salons are super busy so I figured Iโll give this a try since Iโm not trying to do something intricate anyway. So, I have black Asian hair thats wavy and on the thicker side. My hair is slightly over my shoulder, I have level 3 bleached hair for about 1/3 of the length and the rest has not chemical treated but I have a little bit of white hair.I used two boxes, thereโs a lot of left over but one box is just not enough to complete cover. The color is very subtle, itโs basically I possible to color black hair, so I was surprised to see even a little bit of the color coming through. On the parts where it was bleached, itโs not covering as much as I was hoping for. Itโs also a little surprising because the bleached hair parts are so easily to get some semi-permanent color from overtone but not from this Garnier one.Anyway, I was ok with the result since this is just some cheap at-home box dye.The color is basically complete gone after 1.5 months. For your reference, I usually wash my hair 2 times a week, I try to not wash it since winter time is cold and I donโt sweat much and also to preserve the color. I use dry shampoo in between.I would get it again probably if Iโm in the mood to do it again, it does feel kinda easy on the hair, I donโt feel my hair is damaged from dying it. Where it was bleached is already in whatever condition they are, the top feels the same after the colors are gone. It is somewhat gentle I guess :)

Itโs by far the best hair color Iโve ever used.
Covers all my grey. Itโs gentle and doesnโt have much smell. Pricing is fair. Leaves my hair shiny and very natural looking. I use the light brown and it gives me light brown with lovely natural looking golden blonde streaks when I go out in the sunshine. Itโs the only hair dye I will use.

Good for the price
Used it 2 mths ago and no need to dye again, yet. No terrible smell, no ammonia and it is easy to use.

Good overall colour
I found this dye easy to use with good instructions. I was concerned that there would not be enough dye to cover my shoulder length thick hair, but it did. I chose it as it was one recommended for grey coverage. I don't have a lot of grey, but it is stubborn! I did put a lot around my temples and hair line (twice), however I can still see a bit of grey. Considering what a mess my hair was before this, I am pleased with the colour (I went darker to cover all the colours I had going on).

Ther is No Ammonia in this product.
The fact that there is no ammonia in Olia was the first thing I noticed and wanted. It has made an enormous difference to the good health of my hair. Now it is soft and silky whereas it had dried out very badly with other products.
