I usually get blue caps cause are slightly cheaper than the gold ones but once I tried the golden I couldn't get back to the blue.The miscela gold is the closest to the neapolitan espresso as it is creamy, a very good texture coffee and you can taste that is made with arabica in the blend (while blue is more robusta than arabica).Best pods ever!

This espresso has been my big helper for my days. Massively lovely for my wallet with 100 cups of espresso and fits in to my lavanzza mode mio ! I had been bored with tastes of lavanzza so such welcoming changes . Over years I searched and searched but the rarest tastes go higher and higher prices . This oro gold is my second try with this brand : surprisingly I find my Nero was less bitter than oro ! I prefer Nero , the black .But oro is good too. But closer to lavanza taste . The unique easy to drink and want more and more as espresso goes to Nero for me . I am looking forward to try other colours too .

I began buying this product during lockdown based on posigive reviews. It is a really delicious coffee and we alternate between the red and gold depending on what's currently on offer. I can confirm I went to my inlaws in Italy and they buy the same coffee! You can find this in the shops all over Italy so it's a really authentic product. If you check the box it is made in the same factory as lavazza for which you'd pay double the price!

If you're looking for a smooth, pleaseat tasting coffee then this stuff may not for you. It tastes harsh and unbalanced, it's got plenty of flavour but certain notes just overpower any thing subtle. It's certainly strong and very cheap.
