Smooth, beautiful colors for coloring books. I am a beginner colorist and i tried the school grade classic faber castell pencils before which i loved. I just wanted to try more colors from a different set and base. For me they are perfect for any colorist or Hobbyist. I didnt try the expensive professional artist line from this brand so can not compare with those. However, Gold Faber are currently perfect for me and i love them. I wish I got the 48 colors set.
