Birds Day Cockatoo Carrier Backpack-Parrot Travel Cage with Wooden Perch and Food Bowl, Stainless Steel Tray (Charcoal Gray, Cockatoo & Similar)

It's a bit big for my back, but that's not the product's fault. That's my fault for being five foot four and wanting to carry a parrot around on my back when I take the dog for a walk. Five stars since my parrot loves it. For anyone trying to get a size reference, she's a blue-headed macaw and it gives plenty of room for her long tail.

Such a wonderful carrier! Spacious for my umbrella cockatoo, great ventilation, crazy easy to assemble, and my bird accepted it within minutes. I padded the perch so that he could hang on better over bumps and in turns. My only complaint, if you can even call it a complaint... It crushes too easily when strapped into the car seat with a seatbelt. I had to add planks of wood inside, to help it hold its shape. It is a wonderful carrier though - so light! My bird's other carrier, which is also awesome, is made of acrylic and weighs a ton. I cannot comment on its durability, as we've only just gotten it. But it appears quite rugged. Parts are of high quality and it appears to be very well constructed. I highly recommend this carrier!!!

This is exactly what I needed for transporting my Umbrella Cockatoo in the car! He goes right in it, with no fuss.

This carrier is working well as a pet stroller insert, with a couple of changes. The given perch is too small, slippery, and spins no matter how tight you try and make it stationary. I took it out and added a large, portable standing perch. The food/water bowl is too big and floppy, so I added a better one to the inside of the perch. I only use the carrier in the pet stroller, so I removed the backpack straps. Personally, I find the carrier to be too big and cumbersome to be a backpack. So far my cockatoo and Amazon parrots are enjoying this carrier in the stroller. They haven't destroyed it which I'm happy about because it is expensive!

Was worried my blue and gold macaw wouldn’t fit and would not step in. A little short but he fit and stepped in perfectly. Extremely well built. I use this to take him to the vet and back. Collapses down for easy storage. Would recommend this for macaws.

Very disapponted in this carrier. It has a simple design easy to put together and clean up, however, it is not sturdy. The bowl/holder that comes with the bag is enough to make the side cave in with very little in it. If your bird has a beak it can chew the zipper right off especially if it has any amount of time in the carrier. Our cockatoo has proven this. Thankfully, I brought a back up or my vacation could have turned into a disaster.

Excellent! Hopefully they keep it as is , the size in height Is PERFECT FOR ALEXENDRINE PARAKEET (Long TailFeather) The sturdiness of the bowl holder could possibly be improved to avoid slumping but other than that , this is AMAZING in every way for us !

Perfect for my Severe Macaws light easy to carry, great flaps very very impressed prefer over my two Celti's at 1/2 the cost and easier to clean too. excellent as a car carrier and back pack . Has places for two small bowls , and toys . Bite proof screening , the catch pan works and fit well. I highly recommend this case for the price it is a bargain.
