Worst thing I can say is it doesn't sit on carpets well. Easy to assemble, lights work as described. Be sure not to forget about the bulb it comes with or the remote won't work.

INITIAL REVIEW It is a nice-enough looking lamp and worked well until the remote stopped working, which occurred after a week. Now, the light can only be turned on and off with the foot switch which would be OK, except for the fact that the light which the lamp gives off can no longer be regulated. In other words, whatever intensity (brightness) the lamp had when the remote stopped working is the only intensity available. There is no way to increase or decrease the light, or to change the lighting in any way. My setting when the remote stopped working was for a very dim light, which means that, now, the only light available is very dim. There is no way to adjust the brightness upward. (I imagine that the remote could’ve stopped working with the light fully on or fully off and that is where the lamp brightness would stay.) UPDATED REVIEW After reading the above review, the company sent me a new lamp -- unsolicited. I neither asked for, nor expected, them to sent me an entirely new lamp. I am not used to that kind of follow-up and service. As a result, I can't enough positive things about them. So far, the new lamp continues to work fine.

Not real bright lighting, it's great for corners. No flickering, dim the light.

The bulb that came with the lamp is obviously specific to this lamp and the remote that operates it … I tried to find same bulb at big box store … could not, contacted the company and requested they send me a replacement bulb, no response …. So I simply used a standard bulb in the lamp , and yes it will work ….BUT not with the remote that operates It…so they get 1 star for not responding to my request…..sorry Update :I stand corrected …..they DID indeed ship a new bulb along with new remote …product works great …and for the price …I recommend you buy this lamp …😊 Update …. Seller did follow thru with my request and replacement bulbs d remote was sent out …. Pleas disregard the 1 star review … I have zero issues with supplier or product ….

It Ends With Us Easy to put together, the lampshade diffuses a lot of the light. . They are nice looking, I am not really sure why a remote control is needed- seems everything comes with a remote control, I have to Label all the small remote controls. Lightbulb included, saves money and time/ I really hated the packaging, the lamps are well packed, however th cushionning is that loose type of styrofoam that breaks up into tiny flying pieces when it cracks. Room was filled with unpleasant and probably toxic particles that took a while to clean up.
