Excellent taste and easy to make quickly
I gave this a 5 star because the product is excellent and they have done a good job. I add about 100 ml of water and 50 ml of milk measured intoa mug and heat in a microwave for 90 seconds. Then I add a little sugar and then 2 wooden heaped spoons of Vahdam powder and mix. My earlier way of making tea from the start used to take me 9 minutes and now I can finish between meetings and use this in less than 2 minutes. It tastes better than making the tea from scratch and does not need brew time. Aside from the product being good I have some peeves with the company. 1. The wooden spoon is very unwieldy and I am not comfortable using it as it is a thick spoon versus a think one. 2. I did not buy it because of the 100 cups and after 20 days of use the tin is half empty. I would avoid the message totally. 3. There is too much of messaging and the instructions for making the tea is sidelined and too small to read. Its like a marketing agency had to fill every inch of the tin with marketing messaging versus practical how to. GOod companies would have expanded from oz to ml and how to heat water and milk. I did not get a good taste when I followed the recipe so you should definitely improvize. Another reason I like this is that you can actually take this with you and use it in hotel rooms with hot water if you crave your early morning cup of tea. I would definitely recommend this product but needs better instructions.

Delicious and easy to make!
I love this stuff! I add a little to my coffee to punch up the flavor. I’m sure it would be great made with hot milk as well. Great flavor, easy to mix in, and so nice to have an easy way to make a chai at home. Highly recommended.

Good tasting tea. Price? Servings? Not so much
The size is a bit small for $11.99. The package says 100 servings and comes with a tee tiny measuring thingy, but as I’ve continued to drink it I’ve just been using a teaspoon to scoop out a healthier portion. The texture got better as I now boil the milk; it dissolves better that way. I use 8 oz of milk, no water. The blend is on the spicy side as black pepper and ginger are the first 2 ingredients. It’s a bit spicy. But some may like that. I personally miss that there’s no anise. It’s a good instant tea but the 100 servings label is misleading unless you like very weak tea.

Favorite Masala Chai!
This is great! I wanted to be able to make a quick cup of Chai at work without bothering with bags. Just don't make my mistake and use regular spoon and add it to the hot water; way too strong! Then I went back and read description that said makes 100 cups and it includes the little wooden spoon. I will be buying this for future gift baskets as it is delicious and is quite inexpensive. Very happy with everything I've tried from Vadham and many more items to try!

Spice Powder for Making Chai
This is a powdered chai spice, not an instant chai mix, so it requires some preparation. I purchased it under the impression that it was an instant chai that I could simply mix with water for a quick beverage. However, these are ground spices, and a similar mixture can be found for much less at Indian stores. While the spices do add some flavor to the tea, which tastes good, the label "Instant Chai" is misleading. To actually make chai, you need to boil the spices with loose tea or a tea bag and add milk to it. When you look at the picture the container looks quite big but when it came home I was surprised to see how small the container is. Nevertheless, the spices in it are ground well.

Impressively delicious powdered chai, so long as you enjoy cloves
I have been looking for an instant chai powder without sugar, sweetener, powdered milk or artificial creamer, since I like to add my own organic stevia powder and lactose-free milk to my chai. But it seemed like every brand I tried was sub-par, either being difficult to dissolve or too weak in terms of the flavor. This powder dissolves easily with very little residue in the bottom of the cup when you take the last sip, and it is nice and spicy. That being said, chai is a funny thing. Everyone has their own opinion on which spices should be predominant in the mix. Some people like cinnamon to be the strongest flavor note, others ginger, others cardamom, black pepper or clove. To me this is a fairly balanced spice blend with clove being one of the stronger flavors, which I don't mind at all. But again, everyone has their own opinion, and if you don't like the flavor of cloves this may not be the chai for you. However, I am giving it 5 stars because it is exactly what I was looking for: easy to dissolve and spicy.

Disappointing Chai with Bland Taste
I had high hopes for this Instant Traditional Masala Chai, but unfortunately, it fell short for me. It comes with a small wooden spoon buried inside the canister, which I initially thought was missing—there are no clear instructions aside from what's printed on the label, which isn’t very helpful. The directions suggest using 2 scoops per 4 ounces of water or milk, but I found that ratio produced a very weak flavor. After some trial and error, I now use 12–16 scoops for my 16 oz mug (about 3–4 scoops per 4 oz) just to get a decently flavored cup of chai. Even then, it absolutely needs added sweetener—there’s no sugar included, which might work for some, but without it, the chai tastes flat and bland. That said, the texture of the powder is smooth, and it dissolves quickly in hot water or milk, which is convenient. The container is also compact and easy to take on the go, which makes it a good option for travel or work. Unfortunately, the flavor just doesn't hold up, and it takes too much adjusting to get it where it should be. In the end, despite a few convenient features, I won’t be ordering this again and wouldn’t recommend it.

Subtle flavor but tasty
The flavor is subtle so if you’re looking for the strength of flavor that typical masala chai has with tea leaves you’ll need to add more. I added more and also added ginger and liked it. With that in mind it won’t make 100 cups. It will be less. Overall tasty
